Eternal Summer Oblast was an oblast of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun and subsequently of Gishabrun SAR, Renasia. It was the southernmost oblast of the Empire, and the only one that bordered the USA.
Etymology
The name "Eternal Summer" was chosen because of the warm gulf coast climate of the area.
History
On the 25th of August, 2010, Eternal Summer Oblast was captured from United States territory, and The Right Honorable Jason was proclaimed Ambassador.
Eternal Summer Oblast was retained as a land claim of Gishabrun SAR in Renasia. It was finally returned to US sovereignty when Gishabrun transitioned to a non-territorial entity, on 5 May 2015.
Geography
The climate of what was Eternal Summer Oblast is suptropical (but modified by the nearby Gulf of Mexico with the Lake Effect), meaning it has an average of -21 degrees Celsius in winter, and an average of 28 degrees Celsius in summer, with 1170 mm of percipitation year-round. The area of Eternal Summer Oblast is on a plain, flat area, and has many subtropical plants not found anywhere else in Gishabrun. Eternal Summer Oblast contained Sunshine Park.
