Annina Kravat Oblast was a federal subject of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun. It was incorporated into Gishabrun as part of the terms of the Furnace War Treaty (2010).
Etymology
Annina Kravat Oblast was named after the former Principality of Annina Kravat, which existed on its territory until the end of the Furnace War in May of 2010.
History
The area of Annina Kravat Oblast was previously under the control of the Principality of Annina Kravat ("Anna's Bed"), which was founded in May of 2010 in response to the founding of the Tsardom of Moya Kravat. That month, Moya Kravat claimed a furnace vent in Annina Kravat, which was then dubbed "the Furnace Strip". Anna I, then the princess of Annina Kravat, declared war on Moya Kravat because of this, starting what came to be called the Furnace War. After defeat by Moya Kravat, Annina Kravat chose to join the Tsardom.
Annina Kravat Oblast, the territory of which consisted of the bedroom of the former Princess Anna I, was merged with Kravat Oblast on 26 July 2010. This area was later used as the territory for the Gishabruni peerage also known as the Principality of Annina Kravat.
Geography
The climate of what was Annina Kravat Oblast is continental (but modified by the nearby river with the Lake Effect), meaning it has an average of 9.5 degrees Celsius, with 133.1 cm of snowfall each winter and 834 mm of precipitation year-round. The area of Annina Kravat Oblast is on the edge of a small valley, and has a garden right outside the borders. Annina Kravat Oblast contained the Furnace Strip, an area of minor historical importance. Annina Kravat Oblast was at one point surrounded by Canada on all sides, but then it became enclaved by Kravat Oblast as a result of the latter's expansion. Annina Kravat Oblast's area was 10 square metres.
