Kvartirskaya Oblast was an oblast of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun.
Etymology
The name "Kvartiskaya" refers to the area of land containing the oblast, an apartment (квартира in Russian). The word was modified to mean "оf/from the Apartment".
History
On the 3rd of August, 2010, HIM Tsar Kuri I's friend Roger joined the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun, and claimed the place where he lived, which was an apartment. Kvartirskaya Oblast was returned to Canadian sovereignty in May of 2011 due to not meeting the standard of "mappability" for Gishabruni land claims set by the House of Heads at the time.
Geography
The climate of what was Kvartirskaya Oblast is continental (but modified by the nearby river with the Lake Effect), meaning it has an average of -3.5 degrees Celsius in winter, and an average of 22 degrees Celsius in summer, with 133.1 cm of snowfall each winter and 834 mm of percipitation year-round. The area of Kvartirskaya Oblast is on the edge of a small valley. Since Kvartirskaya Oblast claimed a section of an apartment building, that building was the tallest structure in the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun.
