The House of Göth is the current rulling and founding house of the Grand Duchy of Klitzibürg. The current head of the house is Grand Duke Nicholas I., who is also the first Grand Duke and founder of Klitzibürg.
House of Göth originates as a peasent family in the Sudetenland, probably coming into the Czech Lands from Germany after the Battle of White Mountain, as many other German families did. They were speaking German and were etnically German until the end of Second World War, when most of Czechoslovakia's Sudeten Germans were forced to leave the country. House of Göth was allowed to stay, probably because the then patriarch of the house had married a Czech woman.
