The Dale-Westland national football team is an association football team representing the Delsh-Westlandian Federal Republic, the team selects players eligible for any of the three constituent states of the Delsh-Westlandian Federal Republic- the national sides of Caladonia national football team, Dale national football team and Westland national football team. The team is an exhibition side, but can compete in competitions as well, and will generally select international players from and member of the Dale-Westland Football Union, but they can pick uncapped players available too. While the three nations of Dale-Westland will try to compete separately in competitions, the Dale-Westland national football team acts as a fail safe option allowing the teams to compete as a single team, this would most likely take place if the teams could not gather all the players required to compete separately.
History
The team was created by the football associations of the Delsh-Westlandian Federal Republic, the Caladonian Football Association, Dale Football Association and Westlandian Football Association, as an optional united football team to represent the 3 constituent states as a single, Delsh-Westlandian Federal Republic, at any time, most likely at competitions where the 3 states could not compete separately. The Dale-Westland federal football team first entered discussions between the Caladonian Football Association and the Dale Football Association before the Westlandian Football Association gave their approval of the idea.
