The History of the Republic of New Dale and that of Dale-Woking dates back to 22 May 2011 with the founding of the Kingdom of the Dale Empire and its presence on the microwikia forum, followed by its transition to MicroWiki.org.uk leading to its changing from an absolute monarchy to a democratic form of governance. Through out its entire history, only one person, Danny Clarke, has been head of state of every Dale micronation, except for the Delsh-Westlandian Federal Republic where presidential elections will soon be taking place.

Pre-Dale History

The history of the territory of that of the Dale Empire and the later Dale micronations is that of their regional history, predominantly that of the history of the United Kingdom. This history is predominantly that of the United Kingdom because of the location of all Dale governments being within Woking as well as the location of the majority of territory, always being within the United Kingdom.

Kingdom of the Dale Empire

The Kingdom of the Dale Empire was founded on 22 May, 2011 and joined the micronations Wikia a few days later. The Dale Empire was an empire situated in various locations around the world. Its capital is Dale City, a territory within the United Kingdom. The locations of the Territories include: China, South Africa, the United States of America, Canada, Germany, Denmark and England where the bulk of the territory is located. Historic Dale, which pre-dates the Kingdom of the Dale Empire, was believed to have been founded in either 2008 or 2009 and very little is remembered about this early micronation even though it's king has not changed between Historic and Present Dale. This means the Historic Dale as its known to be is believed to have been founded 3 years before former Dale Kingdom.

The Dale Empire existed between 22 May 2011 and 22 September 2011. The Dale Empire ended after a political transition between the absolute monarchy of the Dale Empire and the democracy of the Dale Republic, split by the Dale Transitional Council.

Dale Transitional Council

The Dale Transitional Council was the 1 month standing provisional government which developed the transition from the Kingdom of the Dale Empire and the Dale Republic(Republic of Woking), the transitional council ended with the first October 2011 Dale Presidential elections which ended with a out right victory to the nationalist, Woking Independence Party. The Party was lead by the former king, Danny Clarke.

The official switch over from the Kingdom of the Dale Empire and the Dale Transitional Council and the transition of power from the king, King Danny Clarke I to the Dale Transitional Council took place on the 22nd September 2011, which would have been the 4 month anniversary of the Kingdom of the Dale Empire's founding. The switch over from the Dale Transitional Council and the Dale Republic and the transition of power from the Dale Transitional Council to the Dale Assembly took place on the 26th October 2011.

Dale Republic

The switch over from the Dale Transitional Council to the Dale Republic and the transition of power from the Dale Transitional Council to the Dale Assembly, (later the Dale Montering) transition took place on the 26th October 2011.

The first President of the Dale Republic was elected the first day of the Dale Republic and was Danny Clarke on behalf of the Woking Independence Party and later the Woking People's Nationalist Party, he served his entire term before James Hunt was elected on April 30 2012. However, he soon resigned after 3 days from this position which led to a dispute over how his resignation should be handled, while some believed his deputy, Daniel Townend, should continue the remainder of his term, almost a complete term, others believed a new vote should take place and Daniel should only be an interim president until this can take place. This led to deep disputes and even near hostilities between some citizens of the Dale Republic. A by-election was eventually done and James Hunt regained his position as President of the Dale Republic after just 2 weeks after his resignation.
