Separatism was a common element in politics of micronations associated to Baránok or in Baránok alone. In most of the cases, the separatist tensions resulted in break-up of the nation.

Separatism in Baránok

Baránok was in a massive political crisis in late 2019 to early 2020, which resulted in declaration of Połiakese independence by S.D. on 16 January 2020. The act nearly caused the dissolution of Baránok, one year before it officially happened.

Separatism in Połiak-Baránok

The Połiak-Baránok federation was established as a result of an agreement between the two countries, however, conflicts were visible from the beginning, mainly because some of former Baranese citizens wanted to re-establish Baránok. Imrich Kvajda and A.H. declared a short-lived Third Republic of Baránok on 3 March 2020, which was however quickly dissolved. After Minister of Defence S.S., a lead figure of Baranese separatists, was accused of xenophobia towards Połiaks and removed from his post, a conflict began between the separatists and the federalists. The separatists won the conflict, as the Government unexpectedly joined them, and Połiak-Baránok was dissolved on 23 March 2020.

Separatism in Talcon

As Baránok was dissolved on 27 January 2021 and the Empire of Talcon was established shortly after, a new wave of Baranese separatists came, but were a lot more passive than their predecessors. When the Confederation of Baránok and Talcon was established in April 2021, the separatists had agreed to the compromise of a confederation, however, after it became inactive and Talcon was subsequently dissolved, they resumed their activity and attempted to re-establish Baránok numerous times to this day. Baránok was finally re-established on 26 February 2022.
