A.H. HE is a former Baranese politician and one of the most important people in Baranese history. He is also a co-founder of Baránok and its 4th President from 24 April 2020 to 27 January 2021.
Career
When First Republic of Baránok was estabilished, A.H. became Prime Minister. In ,,elections'' on 5 September 2019, he wasn't re-elected to this post, but he became Minister of Justice and Deputy Prime Minister. In Połiak-Baránok, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs in Second Kvajda's Government. He served as Minister of Defence and President of Federal Assembly of Federal Republic of Baránok in the 2nd Government of T.L. for CDA and he was also mayor of Gyögiszertár from 5 September 2019 to 26 April 2020. On 23 April 2020, he was elected President by Federal Assembly after resignation of Imrich Kvajda, who nominated him and was also backed by the government. He got 4 votes from 6 voting MPs. On 24 April 2020, on 12:00, he assumed this office. He left CDA on 13 July 2020 and re-established People's Alliance. When Baránok was dissolved, he decided to retire from micronationalism, as several other former Baranese citizens did.
Controversies
During his term as President, the power of the position weakened significantly as he was on hiatus most of the time, thus many laws were never approved by him. He was criticised for his inactivity and lack of interest in the presidential post and also for his promises to make big reforms, although none happened. Because of the criticism, it was planned to overthrow A.H. as a part of the 2020 Baranese coup d'état, but as he was inactive, basically had no power in Baránok and also did not try to stop the coup, it was decided to keep him in his post. His last public controversy came after he announced he will be running for a post in the Supreme Court of Baránok, which was met with criticism from some citizens, sparking a question if the three major state officials (President, Prime Minister, President of the Federal Assembly) should run for the post. A referendum was held, which, however, allowed them to do so. This was also his last major public appearance.
