The Republic of Istria, commonly refered to as Istria, was a self-declared de facto independent state with little to no international/UN recognition (it is de jure considered part of Romania); Because of that, it is often referred to as a micronation. It is a Democratic Parliamentary Republic which was formed in 2005 after the fall of the Communist Regime of Column Cristian that lasted 5 years. The origins of the Republic date back to 1934 when H.M. Queen Sara I (The great-grandmother of the incumbent President, Iordan Luca Nicolae II) and H.M. King Comp I (The great-grandfather of the incumbent President Iordan Luca Nicolae II) came in the Region of Istria and developed the Royal Kingdom of Istria(First colony of Danmark, The House of Glucksburg, then independent, The House of Istresky-Glucksburg-Oldenburg, later named House of Jordan or Iordan).
History

The House of Istresky-Glucksburg-Oldenburg is the house formed by the first two royals to govern The Kingdom of Istria. This House is a derivative from the House of Glucksburg of Danmark. After the period of colony of the Region of Istria, it declared it s independence and let the two Glucksburg Monarchs to coninue governing, H.M.Queen Sara I and H.M.King Comp I.
The two had a daughter, named Maríe-Nina, that married a man named Dimitri-George. The two have been the Queen and King of the Kingdom before the Kingdom fall in 1980.
Imperialistic Period (1980-2000)
The Kingdom of Istria was conquered in the Dristorian-Istrian War and had a period of 20 years of beeing a province of The Dristorian Empire.
Communist Era (2000-2005)
Between 2000 and 2005 the Kingdom regained its independence after the fall of the Dristorian Empire as a Republic. The Republic of Garaj Istriei had a time of 5 years of communism after the people voted in their first elections with the Communist Party of Column. Politics and government
The Republic is a parliamentary democratic republic which has divided it s power into three:
Executive
Legislative
The Legislative power of Istria is represented by the Parliament of Republic of Istria. This bicameral institution, that approves, proposes and discusses legislation has the role of verifying the content and official confirmation of certein types of legislation. It was instituted in it's current form thru the first-informal constitution, which it was a detailing of the gouvernemntal reform done by the National Revolutionary Party, a movement that had the opportunity to reorganise the state. Loyanovsky Nate, who later became Prime Minister, was the first organiser and the one who wrote even the first ever Constitution in 2005. The President of the Chamber of Deputies at that time expressed her concern regarding the generality of the first ever act of constitution, and the relatability on internal regulations of every official institution and it's attributions. The Constitutional Court had even some scandals with the Presidential Administration and the constitutional interpretation of "international representative of the state and approves bills into law".
Judiciary
The judicial system in Istria was represented by the Constitutional Court of Istria which was the higher institution in the political stage and plays an important role for the confirmation of the President. The President was sworn in in the front of Parliament and the Constitutional Court, with it being the one which approves the election results and thus recognises oficially the President of Istria.
The civil and penal judicial system is represented by the following institutions:
- The High Court of Cassation and Justice
- The Court of Appeal of Istria
- The Judicial Prosecutor's Office
- The National Direction Anticoruption
The first to be notified in a civil case is the Tribunal.
