The Borough of Pŕvotræv'njskě (Hellenic: Ϝάστυ Πρωτοχλοιικοῦ, romanised: Wásty Prōtoxliikū̃, pronounced: [ˈwasti prɔː.to.xli.iˈkuː]; South Ruthenian: Ґордъ Прьвотрѣвьньска, romanised: Gordě Pŕvotræv'njska, pronounced: [ˈgordə prʲ.voˈtræ.vi̯ɲ.ska]) is one of the boroughs of Græcia, the second-level administrative divisions of the micronation. It was formed in June 2022 AD, located in Cephisia, Attica, Hellas.

Name

The Borough of Pŕvotræv'njskě was named after the street where the borough's seat lies: 1 May street. It was initially translated into South Ruthenian, taking into account the Græcian names for the months, and subsequently translated into Hellenic. For the sake of brevity, the Borough is referred to as Pŕvotræv'njskě (Hellenic: Πρωτοχλοιικός, romanised: Prōtoxliikós [prɔː.to.xli.iˈkos]; South Ruthenian: Прьвотрѣвьньскъ, romanised: Pŕvotræv'njskě [prʲ.voˈtræ.vi̯ɲ.sk(ə)]).

In the South Ruthenian dialect spoken in the borough, it is known as Gąrde Privątravinjska (Northern South Ruthenian: Ґѫрдъ Прьвѫтрѣвьньскѣ [ˈgõrdə prʲ.võˈtræ.vi̯ɲ.skæ]), or Privątravinjske (Northern South Ruthenian: Прьвѫтрѣвьньскъ [prʲ.võˈtræ.vi̯ɲ.sk(ə)]) for short.

History

The Borough of Pŕvotræv'njskě was formed on 9 June 2022 AD, alongside the borough of Nea Ionia.

Religion

All of the people living in the Borough are Greek Orthodox Christians. The patron saint of the Borough is Saint Nectarios, whose feast is celebrated on 9 November.

Language

The official languages of the Borough are Hellenic, and South Ruthenian, which are used for official documents, as well as everyday things. The locally spoken dialect of South Ruthenian, Northern South Ruthenian, is recognised as a regional languages and protected under Græcian laws. Although not recognised, Albanian is a spoken immigrant language.
