The Borough of Nea Ionia (Hellenic: Ϝάστυ Νέας Ἰωνίας, romanised: Wásty Néās Iōníās, pronounced: [ˈwasti ˈne.aːs i.ɔːˈni.aːs]) is one of the boroughs of Græcia, the second-level administrative divisions of the micronation. It was formed in June 2022 AD, located in Nea Erythraia, Attica, Hellas.
Name
The Borough of Nea Ionia was named in honour of Ionia, the ancient region whence the refugees who settled the surrounding macronational area came from. For the sake of brevity, the Borough is referred to as Nea Ionia (Hellenic: Νέα Ἰωνία, romanised: Néa Iōnía [ˈne.aː i.ɔːˈni.aː]).
History
The Borough of Nea Ionia was formed on 9 June 2022 AD, alongside the borough of Pŕvotræv'njskě.

Religion
The majority of the people living in the Borough are Greek Orthodox Christians (5/9 = 55,55%), while the rest are atheists. The patron saints of the Borough are the Holy Unmercenaries Saints Cosmas and Damian, whose feast is celebrated on 1 November.
Language
The official language of the Borough is Hellenic, which is used for official documents, as well as everyday things. A few survivors of a dying generation might speak a few Turkish, but their number is insignificant and thus the language is not recognised whatsoever.
