The Balkan League of Micronations is a micronational organisation in the form of a loose political union, founded on 4 May 2022. Its goal is the development of diplomacy, peaceful co-operation and a harmonious foreign policy bloc between Balkan micronations. The League was founded by Teveria, Moravskja, Græcia, and Pochehova, with the intention of creating a reference point for all micronations located in the Balkan peninsula, following the unsuccessful attempt of the Balkan Union, a non–affiliated initiative back in 2017.

History
The League's establishment was unofficially initiated on Discord on 19 April 2022, when the server was created by the Pochehovan leader. He then added the leaders of Teveria, Moravskja (Anslavia), and Græcia. From 26 April, the four members of the server started discussing key points and finally published the signed Treaty of Zaječar on 20 May 2022, effective immediately.
Government
The main institution dealing with the affairs of the League is the Presidium, which was initially composed of the four founding members of the Balkan League of Micronations: Anslavia, Græcia, Pochehova, and Teweria. The members of the Presidium are responsible for the acceptance or not of prospect members, and the ratification of decisions. On 16 February 2023, it was announced that the League was going to hold its first ever elections, in order to form a Presidium with one representative for each ethnic group which was present in the League at the time: one for the Slavs, one for the Hellenes, and one for the Romanians.
All of the members of the League take part in the Assembly of the League, which operates as an open dialogue space which brings proposals to light, discussions on various topics and many more. The Assembly is responsible for promoting topics to be voted by the Presidium.

Politics
The main aims of the League are to form the only Balkan intermicronational loose union, bring Balkan micronations together, based on their common culture, and thus promote peaceful diplomatic relations between them.
The members of the League have agreed upon contributing to the further development of international relations, by promoting peace and friendship through strengthening their ties, achieving a greater understanding of the principles on which the League's foundation was based upon, and contributing to the creation of conditions for stability and harmony of interests, by eliminating contradictions on an intermicronational scale, through the promotion of substantial co-operation between the members.
