The Græcian Volleyball Championship (Hellenic: Γραικικὸν Πρωτάθλημα Πετοσφαιρίσεως Ğrekikòn Prōtáþlīma Petosferíseōs, Neoclassical Latin: CAMPIONĀTVM FOLLIS VOLITĀTIS GRÆCIÆ, South Ruthenian: Воллєйбаллско Магістърство Грѣкійъі Vollejballsko Maħistěrstvo Ħrækijî) is the amateur and sole volleyball league in Græcia, formed in 2020. It consists of 6 teams and runs from February to June, with teams playing 10 games each.

History

The inaugural season of the championship is set to start in October 2024 AD.

The Græcian Volleyball Championship inherited the inaugural logo of the Græcian Volleyball League.

Competition format

The championship is the 2nd-tier competition, featuring neither a domestic cup, nor league cup. Promotion to the 1st-tier tournament and relegation from it are not conducted, due to the special status of the teams competing in the Volleyball Championship. By the end of the season, the Volleyball Championship champions compete in the Græcian Volleyball Challenge Cup, against the winners of the Græcian Volleyball League.

Broadcasting rights

Since the athletes and the clubs are amateur, there will be no televised live coverage; the only possibility will be for the Sports Administration to conduct on-line live coverage of the match events.
