Orders of the Hjalsk Parliament

The Orders of the Hjalsk Parliament, often referred to as the Orders of Hjalvik are the acts of parliament passed through in the Jarldom of Hjalvik, by the Hjalsk court.

The orders were first proposed with the foundation of Hjalvik, and are backed up by Hjalsk law.

Enactment

For an act of parliament to be processed, it first must be suggested. This can be at a Hjalsk government meeting, and proposed by a fellow member of the government. It can also be done via a letter to the Hjalsk government, asking for the written act to be discussed. If the act is voted through in the parliament, it will then be discussed around the round table, until it fits the criteria of each government representative. After the act is processed and formally written out, a signature from Jarl Juvan I permits the initiation of the act. Jarl Juvan I does hold the power to introduce a new act of parliament without discussion from the round table in parliament.
