The July 2021 Northumbrian general election was held on the 30th of July 2021, and was the third election in Northumbria's history. All fourty-one members of the Northumbrian Parliament were elected, alongside all members of Northumbria's various county councils. The election was triggered by a vote of no confidence launched by Harry Jones and the Christian Democrats (who previously served with the National Democratic Party in government), in response to the Half Moon conspiracy scandal. The NDP managed to increase their seat share in Parliament by five, allowing them to form a majority government without the support of the Christian Democrats.
