A lieutenant (/lɛfˈtɛnənt/, lef-TEN-ənt) is a junior commissioned officer of the Baustralian Army. It outranks a second liuetenant, and in other services, an acting sub lieutenant, and a pilot officer. It is equivalent to a Sub lieutenant and a flying officer.
Insignia
Insignia of a lieutenant on the headdress is a plain peak. The cap badge is that of the unit which they belong. The rank insignia is two “pips”, that is small Order of the Gadus stars.
