The Faltrian-Kapresh War was a conflict that was begun by Faltree on 24 June 2021 over Kapresh refusal to cede the territory of Providence Rock to Faltree. The conflict was a theatre of the Kapresh Civil War, this civil war being one of the Faltrian motives for the war. Faltree conducted an invasion of Providence Rock on the 11th of July, successfully capturing the Kapresh imperial territory. Following this invasion, Jackson I relinquished control of the territory by dissolving it. Eventually the conflict was ended via the Treaty of Albuquerque, wherein the Empire of Kapreburg officially recognized Faltrian victory in the war.

Prelude
Origins of the war begin with the Partition of the Aleunnic Empire on 18 November 2020, wherein Kapreburg and numerous other micronations divided the Aleunnic Empire into numerous colonial holdings. Providence Rock was one of these colonial holdings generated from the partition, and the longest lasting as well. The nation that had organized the treaty, the Wohlstand Vereinigung (which was currently apart of the developing Federal Republic of Vulhalin), had collapsed 10 days after the partition. This collapse led to the reinstatement of Reunited Ocean States and the State of Faltree, nations both eager to prove themselves after the failure of Vulhalin. Internal politics in the Micronational Assembly led to tensions between Faltree-aligned nations and the Great Lawl Reich, especially after multiple council shuffles and a disbursement within the organization. This tension increased by a wave of revanchism in Faltree and Reunited Ocean States, plus the establishment of the Aleunnic Workers' Republic in the Aleunnic region. Tensions exploded with the beginning of the Greater Aleunnic War, which would pit anti-colonial nations against the Great Lawl Reich. During all of this conflict Kapreburg and Providence Rock would sit outside of the crossfire, relatively unaffected by the Greater Aleunnic War itself. Though the Greater Aleunnic War came to a close, the wave of Faltrian revanchism did not cease and was further boldened by victory in the war. As the Greater Aleunnic War was ending, the Kapresh Civil War ignited and had placed Kapreburg and Faltree on opposite sides of the conflict. Revanchist fervor would influence the Faltrian Senate, leading to a declaration of war that ended in a vote of 8-3 in support.
Conflict and peace
War began on 24 June 2021, with Faltree announcing intentions to seize Providence Rock from the Empire of Kapreburg. Between the declaration of war and the official invasion Faltree underwent internal reform regarding the military, which up until that was a loosely organized national miltia. Such reformation led to the creation of the National Army of Faltree on 4 July 2021. The Faltrian invasion of Providence Rock came 7 days after the formation of the National Army of Faltree on 11 July 2021, the invasion spearheaded by the 1st Faltrian Infantry Regiment. Faltree was generally successful in their offensive, capturing the entirety of Providence Rock from Kapreburg. Initially Kapreburg refused to recognize the invasion and the war itself, choosing instead to dissolve the territory via Royal Decree 26/2021.[1] On 12 July, Faltree planned to propose a treaty to Kapreburg but it was refused after Faltree granted land to the Grand Republic of Kapreburg that same day. From this point on there would be no more official offensives or military movements, the conflict stalling for a prolonged amount of time. Negotiations between Faltree and its allies with Kapreburg began the 31st of August, a negotiations discord server being made by Jebediah Powell. 18 days of discussion and negotiations would follow, with numerous treaties being proposed by both parties. Eventually, both sides would collaborate on the Treaty of New Albuquerque which had conditions that were favored by both sides. Conflict ended on 18 September 2021.
