Grand Republic of Kapreburg, or just Kapreburg, was a break away state from the Empire of Kapreburg. Kapreburg was formed on 23 June 2021 by former citizens of the Empire of Kapreburg, most notably Jacob Vancapelle, Jebediah Powell and Connor Shaw. The 2021 Grand Republic of Kapreburg election took place between 16 and 17 July 2021.
Government
The Government of the Grand Republic is broken primarily into two branches, the Executive and Legislative. The Executive Branch is made up of the President, Vice-President and the Cabinet. The President is responsible for all executive matters of the Government of the Grand Republic and has the final say on whether any given bill is passed or vetoed. The Cabinet is appointed by the President and is responsible for the administration of certain executive departments. The Legislative Branch is the Senate of the Grand Republic of Kapreburg and is broken into two houses, the House of Governors and the House of Electors. The House of Governors is made up of the Governor of each respective State of the Grand Republic who conjointly work as the Upper House of the Grand Republic. The House of Electors is made up of more local Representatives elected by the people of Kapreburg. Bills can be proposed in either house but must be fully passed in both houses before it reaches final approval by the President.
