The Chaplain General is a post which commands the Baustralian Corps of Chaplains. As chaplains are unranked in the Baustralian Armed Forces, he wears a special insignia of a chaplain general. They are paid the salary of a rear admiral, major general, and air vice marshal.
Naval chaplains general do not wear cuff insignia. When wearing shoulder boards, they wear a gold anchor over a silver cross, below two silver stars. Army chaplains general wear a silver cross below four gold pips.
