The Democratic Monarchy of Whovania is a micronation founded on 20 June 2013 by Sir Conner Wilson. It grants equality before the law to great apes such as chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans.

Etymology
The name Whovania comes from the phrase "Whovian", referring to a fan of Doctor Who.
Government
Whovania is a constitutional monarchy, led by a monarch - currently Davin Ducre - and a Prime Minister elected to a nine year term, currently Sir Conner Wilson. There is no limit on consecutive terms for Prime Ministers unless they are voted out, in which case they must wait eighteen years to run again, and if impeached by Parliament, in which case they cannot serve any political post again.
