The Senate was the upper chamber of the Baranese Parliament, which existed between December 2019 and February 2020.
History
In early December 2019, the Baranese officials decided to form a two-chamber parliament, with the Kugelschreiber being the lower and the Senate (with three members) being the upper chamber. On 5 December 2019, the first Kugelchreiber election was held, the senators were still not elected, however, as the rules of the election enlisted every citizen as a Kugelschreiber member and the Senate was thus unelectable. Both chambers were dissolved after parliamentary election in Połiak-Baránok on 25 February 2020. After the reformation of Baránok, there were rumours about re-establishing the Senate, especially in late 2020, with the three-member system being reformed to include the President, Prime Minister and President of the Federal Assembly. The model was never applied.
