The Red Cross Commendation Medal (Thai:เหรียญกาชาดสรรเสริญ) is a commemorative coin that the emperor bestows to a person who has performed merit in medicine or public health, divided into three levels: gold, silver and bronze. The recipient of this type of medal does not have to be a government official or a volunteer.

A person who deserves a Red Cross Medal to praise those who do good deeds.
- Those who provide assistance to those who are in danger and may be fatal to escape danger without the sake of reward and did not lead to their own danger.
- People who are kind to their fellow human beings, such as setting up an orphanage without thinking of personal interests.
