The Regent of the Emperor (Thai:ผู้สำเร็จราชการแผ่นดินหรือผู้สำเร็จราชการแทนพระองค์) is the administrator of the state government in place of the emperor.

Section 18 While there is no Regent under Section 16 or Section 17, the President of the Privy Council shall temporarily be the Regent.
