The Most Gallant Order of the Queenslandian Military Service is the third military honour established in 2015 by Sir Albert G. Philip, the then Governor-General of Queensland. It is awarded to soldiers for outstanding service in the armed forces, including battalions and regiments, in recognition of their combat prowess.
History
The Order of the Queenslandian Military Service was established on 5 March 2015, the first honour to be established following independence. It was established by order of the Governor General of Queensland at that time. Order of the Queenslandian Military Service's given to military enlisted and the military officers who have done useful things for the country and also given to military commanders in foreign countries.
Grades and Insignia
Grades
The Sovereign (currently Baudouin) is Sovereign of the Order. All deeds granting decorations of the Order must bear the signature of the Sovereign and Grand Master. The Order is conferred with four variations:
- Courageous Commander
- Loyal Commander
- Warrior
- Officer
Ribbon bars
The ribbon bars of the Most Exalted Order of the Helmond Bernhard which has been used since 5 March 2015.
