History of the Åland State
The Åland State would be founded after a coup against the French Republic. Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State Enabling act to officialy found the Åland States government and military. On 30 January 2024, the Constitution is signed. The first laws would be written on the 5 February 2024. The enabling act would be suspended on 14 February 2024. The second draft of the constitution would be signed on 14 February 2024. The first election was going take place on 29 February 2024. French Republic royalists would attmept a coup. The royalists would proclaim the Second French Republic. The Åland Armed Forces would crush the coup on the 2 March. Himberg would become president on 2 March 2024. On 29 March 2024 Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State Recognition Act. On 11 April 2024, the Åland State-Jurassicland Mutual Defence Agreement would be signed. On 11 April 2024, Wilmer Himberg would become vice president. Operation SOW would take place on 12 April 2024 to gain intelligence on the Empire of Medieval. On 14 April 2024, the Långgrunds Defence Pact including the Åland State would go to war with Medieval. W would start a rebellion and civil war in the Åland State on 14 April 2024. The war and civil war would end on 21 May 2024 when the Åland State would win. On 28 May Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State Government Reform Act where the parliament would be suspended untill the 1 June. Marius Åkerblom would become vice president when he would come back and elections would be suspended. On 28 June 2024, Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State island municipality act where Suggrund would be incorpirated with the island of Långgrunds in to the Islands area. On 23 September 2024, the Åland State would be announced to be dissolved in 2025.

Foundation
15 December Coup
On 15 December 2023, the Freedom Brigades and the MADF, which would be named the freedom coalition lead by Axel Himberg, would start coup against the imperial government of the French Republic. The freedom coalition would beging the coup in the imperial house. Small clashes would begin between the Imperial police and army against the freedom coalition. The freedom coaliton would advance into the archive room and destory everything inside. Many of the Imperial police would join on the side of the freedom coalition as Himberg was leading it and many still saw himberg as the emperor. The freedom coalition would tear up all French Republic flags and documents. In the end the freedom coaliton would take controll and dissolve the French Republic forming the Åland State. Axel Himberg, the former emperor would be the leader of the coup to gain more power.
Founding of the Government
After the coup, no government would be officilay founded leading the formed territories of the French Republic with no official government. The MADF would become the de facto government over the territories and the Freedom Brigades would leave. The MADF on 31 December 2023 would found the Ålandssekretapolisen as the Åland States secret police as a start for the government. On 1 January 2024, Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State Enabling act to concolidate power and grow the military. The enabling act would also officialy found the government and military of the Åland State. On 2 January 2024, the Åland State government and military would be officialy founded. Himberg would announce many plans for the military by the summer of 2024. Also on 2 January 2024, Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State Remilitarization act to grow the Åland Armed Forces and modernize its equipment.
First Foreign Relations
On 3 January 2024, the Åland State and the Marius Empire would sign a deal to begin military cooperation outside the Långgrunds Defence Pact. The Marius Empire and the Åland State would begin cooperate in research for new military technology and the production of gunpowder. During this time Himberg would also sign the 2024 Åland State anti-LGBT act to remove all rights from LGBT people and furries from the Åland State.
Constitution and first laws
The Åland State would expand into some eastern territory from Börkö on 21 January and would let the Marius Empire have some territory aswell. The anti-LGBT act would be quickly suspended on 30 January 2024 and on the same day repealed. On 30 January 2024, the Constitution is signed establishing basic laws and how the country is governed. The first laws would be written on the 5 February 2024. On 9 February 2024, ÅASA would be founded. The enabling act would be suspended on 14 February 2024. The second draft of the constitution would be signed on 14 February 2024.
First election
The first election was going take place on 29 February 2024. Presidential primaries began on 15 February and ended on 17 February 2024 and between Axel Himberg, Marius Åkerblom and Wilmer Himberg Axel Himberg would win.
French Royalist Coup
On 1 March 2024, a coup would be started by French Republic royalists.[1] The royalists would proclaim the Second French Republic. The Åland Armed Forces would crush the coup on the 2 March.[2] Vote counting would continue and Himberg would become president.
First Presidency
Axel Himberg would become the first president of the Åland State. On 29 March 2024 Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State Recognition Act which would state what countries the Åland State recognize. It would also be the first official act signed by Himberg as president. Himberg would on the 6 April 2024 sign the first executive order banning refugees from specific war zones and citizens from countries that the Åland State does not recognize. On 11 April 2024, Wilmer Himberg would become vice president. Also on 11 April 2024, the Åland State-Jurassicland Mutual Defence Agreement would be signed between the Åland State and Jurassicland.[3] The Åland State would send peace keeping forces to Källbo officialy getting involved in the Källbo Insurgency. Operation SOW would take place on 12 April 2024 to gain intelligence on the Empire of Medieval.
Långgrunds Defence Pact-Medieval war
On 14 April 2024, the Långgrunds Defence Pact including the Åland State would go to war with Medieval. The Långgrunds Defence Pact would capture Medieval. W would start a rebellion and civil war in the Åland State on 14 April 2024. The Battle of Sugg would begin. The war and civil war would end on 21 May 2024 when the Åland State would win.
2024 Åland State self-coup d'état
On 28 May Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State Government Reform Act where the parliament would be suspended untill the 1 June. Marius Åkerblom would become vice president when he would come back and elections would be suspended. The Åland Party would become the only party in parliament. On the 20 June 2024, Himberg would sign the Second 2024 Åland State Reform act which would bring back elections and give back a seat to the Finnish party in parliament.
Territorial and economic expansion
On 28 June 2024, Himberg would sign the 2024 Åland State island municipality act where Suggrund would be incorpirated with the island of Långgrunds in to the Islands area. On 7 July 2024, Himberg would sign the second executive order and third executive order which raised tariffs on lumber, blueberries and raspberries by 50% to Jurassicland and the Marius Empire excluding Finland from tariffs. On 10 July, Himberg would put 50% tax on every wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca) from a farm not including wild ones only ones grown in farms.
Dissolution
On 23 September 2024, the Åland State would be announced to be dissolved in 2025.
