List of municipalities in the Åland State

There are 5 municipalities in the Åland State, Cerkö, Sugg and the Forest area and Islands area. The forest area is an area with 0 population so all of that territory is unified into the Forest area as more municipalities are not required and so is the Islands area. According to the constitution all municipalities have their own governor that obeys the laws set in place by the head of state of the Åland State. There is also freedom of movement through all of the Åland State. Börkö municipality would be renamed Cerkö municipality.
