The Åland Aeronautics and Space Administration (ÅASA) is an executive agency of the government of the Åland State. It was established on 9 February 2024. Its headquarters are located in Börkö. With its rocket launch site in Cerkö. ÅASA is responsible for space research and aeronautics research. ÅASA has many planned missions and tests for the future. ÅASA is also works with the Åland Arms Manufactury to produce rockets for ÅASA, Åland Armed Forces and civilian use under permission.
History
The Åland Aeronautics and Space administration was established on 9 February 2024 by Axel Himberg. ÅASA would begin planning for their first rocket, Nebula I. Nebula I will begin construction on 9 February till 12 February and is meant to take its first test launch on 9 February. Also on 9 February ÅASA began to work with the Åland Arms Manufactury to produce rockets for various reasons including to make space, rockets, military uses and civilian use under permission. The first test rocket would be made, Nebula -I that would do its first test launch on 9 February 2024. Nebula -I would burn up during launch, it would also not properly launch as there was not enough fuel.
