On 1 April 2020, President of the Transitional State Council T.L. announced that Presidental elections will be around 3rd or 4 April. Earlier that day, Imrich Kvajda of CDA announced his candidature as the first candidate. In the evening of 1 April, S.S. and M.B. announced their candidature. Oľga Bebečková. joined them on the next day. The elections were won by Kvajda.
Parliament of Baránok had to elect the President, because Kvajda resigned from the post on 22 April 2020. Two MPs announced their candidature, A.H. (coalition candidate) and M.B. (opposition candidate). A.H. won and became fourth President of Baránok, with support of all coalition MPs and one MP of opposition. One MP voted on 24 April, when it wasn't possible to vote, so his vote was invalid.
