The Second Secretary of State, officially the Second Secretary of State of Roscamistan, is the main junior-minister at the Cabinet Office and deputy to the First Secretary of State. The Second Secretary of State is a position that helps with the administration and advice to the Cabinet of Roscamistan along with the First Secretary of State. The position was originally vacant, until 22 October 2021 when Culann Burke was appointed to the position. On 28 November 2021, Culann left the position vacant, and became the First Secretary of State. The position was filled again by the former President of Ballinfoyleburg Sean Mulryan who was appointed to the position by Thomas Jacobs on 8 February 2022. He resigned on 28 February 2022.
History
The position was proposed through the tenure of Adam Flannery as First Secretary of State, but it was only created after he resigned from the position on 21 October 2021 was someone appointed to the position. On 22 October 2021 Vice President Culann Burke was appointed to the position under First Secretary Katherine Keadivich. After the November 2021 Roscamistan elections Culann Burke became First Secretary of State, and left the office vacant. On 8 February 2022, Sean Mulryan, former President of the neighbouring Ballinfoyleburg was appointed to the position. He resigned on 28 February 2022. On 15 May 2022, Senator Nyck Bradaten was appointed to the position, thus ending the period of vacancy that followed his resignation.
