The Nationalist-Socialist Peoples Movement was founded in 2005 after the fall of the communist regime and was the first party to rule the new formed Republic of Istria. The party had many important political leaders and for a long time ruled the country. Former the President Theodor Adin is one of the member of the party. In 2005 Presidential Election they won and became the majority party in the parliament. They have gouvernors in 5 of the nations regions and senatorial presence.
