The Department of Economic Affairs, or DEA, is a Schpecktenian department responsible for production of the Schpecktenian Mark, economy management, and trade. The department has been in use since 29 May 2023, and saw special use throughout the Imperial Federation of Schpecktenia.

The DEA functions using shared Google Drive documents and other subjects. Schpecktenia has been using Google Drive for document keeping since the Second Republic in January 2023.

History

The ministry was created during the Second Republic of Schpecktenia as the Department of Economy. Marks were backed and printed, allowing for Schpecktenian economy to function properly. Production went smoothly until the economic shutdown in November 2023. Marks are being printed once again starting in May 2024.

Accomplishments

On 10 August 2023, the Colony of Mickleville was founded, and generated nearly 200,000 marks due to an area policy for Schpecktenian territories. This later led to Schpecktenia stopping generating new marks, for the large quantity of marks would sustain the nation for the next six months.

Offices

Office of Civilian Banking and Mark Tracking

Also known as CBMT, this office functions as a central bank and is always at use of the request of a citizen. The CBMT keeps track of marks civilians gain and are paid, governmental mark balance, and governmental budget.

Office of Schpecktenian Gross Domestic Product

Also known as S-GDP, this office calculates the GDP twice a year sometime around the Schpecktenian census.

Office of Mark Production

The Office of Mark Production is in charge of peach ring purchasing, mark design, and mark printing.
