The Second Front is a conflict part of the Greater Metro East War. Following the War of the First Front, Taydrostia being a puppet of Schpecktenia, now becoming South Meadowen. A movement would form striving to bring back the old Taydrostian objectives. Schpecktenia and New Prussia wouldn't get involved until the New Independent Taydrostian Movement directly attacked Schpecktenia's capital, the Grand Estate of Meadowen. After weeks of fighting, South Meadowen would fall to NITM's last attack on Syktoria.
New Independent Taydrostian Movement
A few Taydrostian peoples wanted to rid themselves from isolation, and try to ally with other micronations, but this would go against Schpecktenia’s plan of keeping Taydrostia unaware. Schpecktenia met with Fisk again, but decided to change Taydrostia a little more. Taydrostia was still isolationist, but the government was to be overseen by Schpecktenia. Taydrostia was forced to rename itself into the Republic of South Meadowen, and be a Schpecktenian puppet.
The vice president of South Meadowen, Michael Scholz, still could not agree with this control. He tried to rebel against Schpecktenia, but his efforts were put down. He formed a political group called the New Independent Taydrostian Movement on 7 December 2023. Originally, NITM was only to be a peaceful protest, but the group started to evolve. Scholz being the leader, he appointed leaders like Gregory Bard and Samuel Pont. Scholz informed Bard and Pont about how Schpecktenia was controlling South Meadowen, but with much bias. The two followers fully supported Scholz, and the three would officially declare independence from South Meadowen.
Taydrostian Civil War
NITM entered the South Meadowen governmental shed and destroyed several documents. Aydin Fisk himself drove away the NITM forces, but a few treaties with Schpecktenia were still destroyed. South Meadowen was upset with NITM, many people did not see a conflict between Taydrostians as something to become real. Still, the 2nd Syktorian Rangers would prepare for more attacks. Fisk wanted to solve this issue peacefully.
NITM would attack South Meadowen again, but now South Meadowen will retaliate. South Meadowen soldiers fired warning shots once the NITM forces got close, scaring them away. Despite this, NITM would control a small amount of territory in South Meadowen for most of their conflict.
New Prussian Involvement
In the morning of the 12th of December, just two days into the Taydrostian Civil War, New Prussia would make a statement. "To both sides in the Taydrostian Civil War, by order of the Kaiser, you are to lay down your weapons and allow New Prussian forces to keep the peace and occupy your cities. You face no chance against us, you have 24 hours." Despite Schpecktenia’s stance of being peaceful, they were very supportive of New Prussia.
Schpecktenian Involvement
During the evening of 11 December 2023, NITM entered Schpecktenia's Province of Meadowen and tore down their flag in the Schpecktenian capital, another act of intimidation toward Schpecktenia. The next morning, Ruby and her brother Vernon Specht, who is the Governor of Vineland, found that their flag had been forcibly taken down. Ruby saw this as a direct attack towards Schpecktenia, and Luka and her would officially declare war on NITM, starting the Second Front.
Battle of the Vaughn
The Nimts claim South Meadowen's Province of Vaughn, the province that holds one NITM member and has a lot of land. All nations agree on the Day Rule, stating that soldiers can be "killed" in battle and will be replenished if they go back to the mainland of their nation.
New Prussian Chemical Weapons
Once New Prussia hears about Schpecktenia getting directly involved, they mobilize to attack the Nimts in the Province of Vaughn on 12 December. New Prussian forces face against NITM forces, and New Prussia use their Nidhogg Gas, which has been in development for several months. The gas releases yellow smoke and a putrid smell, causing the Nimts to retreat. New Prussian forces take occupy some land, and holds it there for South Meadowen.
"Primal Fighting"
In the early skirmishes of the battle, NITM and South Meadowen forces started using more savage tactics, such as the use of spears instead of airsoft weapons. The reason for this is the province's residential surroundings, so typical gunfights are more dangerous to surroundings. It is unknown if New Prussia and Schpecktenia will use the same tactics.
It had started to get colder now, and South Meadowen and Schpecktenia had slowed their advances in Vaughn. NITM remained in Vaughn, but were not prepared for cold weather. New Prussia was equiped with winter clothing, and was able to drive away NITM forces and take more land. Taking advantage of the weakened NITM military, Schpecktenia annexed the New Tower Colonies.
Christmas/Yule Truce
At this point in the war, Schpecktenia was focusing on language, New Prussia was focusing on sports, South Meadowen was still making governmental improvements, and NITM had to form the government completely. Transcending all of that, everyone was ready for the holidays. All the powers signed the Christmas/Yule Truce, halting all fighting until the 29th of December.
In the period of no-combat, NITM was gaining more citizens and South Meadowen was losing citizens. Fisk still did not have any desire to fight NITM, but wanted to remain on good terms with Schpecktenia.
South Meadowen Joins NITM
As soon as the Christmas Truce ended, NITM launched a last attack on Syktoria. The remaining three South Meadowen soldiers, including Aydin Fisk, fought hard against NITM. NITM had time to plan this last assault on South Meadowen, and Syktoria along with the Schpecktenian backed government fell in just ten minutes. Fisk and the remainder of South Meadowen had no choice but to fight with NITM against Schpecktenia and New Prussia, ending the War of the Second Front.
