Following the Greater Metro East War, the newly reformed Republic of South Meadowen started to be controlled slightly by the Imperial Federation of Schpecktenia. South Meadowen has a similarly functioning government system to Schpecktenia, and had the same political belief structure as Schpecktenia. Michael Scholz, the vice president of South Meadowen, previously attempted to rid the nation of being a Schpecktenian puppet by leading the Organic Party of South Meadowen, but gained some popularity in the nation by stating they should revolt against the Schpecktenian puppet government by starting the New Independent Taydrostia Movement.

Early War

First Attacks

The South Meadowen government printed out many documents they had either for the nation itself or treaties. They were kept in South Meadowen's capital, Syktoria, in a shed used as a government building. On 7 December, the New Independent Taydrostia Movement went there without the government knowing and destroyed the physical copy of the Treaty of Quercus. Once the South Meadowen government was made aware of this, they called the movement "Nitms," coming from the acronym NITM.

On 8 December, the Nitms attacked once again, this time destroying South Meadowen's new constitution. South Meadowen's 2nd Syktorian Rangers were in Syktoria at the time, and fired warning shots at the Nimts. Shortly after, Aydin Fisk I met with Ruby Specht I. Ruby stated that Schpecktenia would not fight in the war unless absolutely necessary, but gifted South Meadowen several airsoft weapons.

Negotiations

Aydin I called to Michael Scholz to meet and discuss peace on 10 December. Aydin I was on a call with Schpecktenian officials secretly, and Scholz was not aware. Scholz stated that the real enemy was Schpecktenia, and Aydin I should unite with the Taydrostian people to fight Schpecktenia again. Aydin I refused, and the Nimts, now with the more strategized reformed 1st Taydrostian Infantry attempted to attack Syktoria.

South Meadowen was prepared, and the two armies exchanged fire. The 2nd Syktorian Rangers charge forward into the government building to prevent the Nimts from destroying any documents, but most are forced to flee after a fake grenade is thrown. The 2nd Syktorian Rangers all retreat back to the Province of Bradford, but one South Meadowen soldier is taken prisoner. The South Meadowenish soldier joins the Nimts, making the balance of the two nations equal.

New Tower Colonies Annexation

The Nimts' 1st Taydrostian Infantry annex both East and West New Tower Colonies with no resistance. Scholz announces the plan to retake Taydrostia's homeland and become fully independent from Schpecktenia. The plan follows the taking of the Province of Vaughn, then to the Province of Bradford, and finally taking the Province of Taydrostia in its entirety.

Christmas Truce

Schpecktenia, New Prussia, NITM, and South Meadowen agreed on a ceasefire of the Taydrostian Civil War and the Greater Metro East war from 20 December to 29 December. Everyone followed the ceasefire up until the end.

Battle of Syktoria

On 30 December, NITM launched an all-out attack on South Meadowen. After 20 minutes, South Meadowen surrendered to the NITM forces. After negotiations, South Meadowen agreed to join NITM in the Greater Metro East War.
