On 4 February 2024, the United Socialist Republics collapsed after a mass-raid from the combined efforts of internal rebels, the Centinelas Del Cristianismo, and other similar Discord clans. Although officially disputed by USR officials, the event led to the alleged dissolution of the USR and the mass partitioning of the USR's territories among various people, including the Confederation of Naw and the United Socialist States.

Impact

The collapse immediately caused mass chaos within the Republics, which sought refuge from those willing to help. Andrew I of Pontunia joined many former Republics in the attempt to get more citizens into his discord server for Pontunia, while many others followed suit. Notably, one high-ranking official named Connor Rostov formed his own successor to the USR known as the United Socialist States which is attempting to bring micronations which use socialist governments together.

Almost every Republic was broken after the collapse, with Taksovia being the last attempt at keeping the Republics alive. Many Republics are opting to join the United Socialist States or the Confederation of Naw, both of which were established after the collapse as options for former members to choose from. The United Socialist States is similar to the USR in what they claimed to be, but not what they were in reality while the Confederation of Naw is simply an Imperial Confederation of states influenced by Elarian culture.

Reactions

Most micronations, if reacting at all, responded to the collapse with near-unanimous praise and celebration. Many officials gave out speeches, declarations, and official statements on the collapse, usually responding positively.
