The Simulationist Representative Party is one of the more favorable political parties in the Provincist Republic of Schpecktenia. The SRP focuses on maintaining the representative democracy in Schpecktenia and is opposed to secessionism.
History
The party was created on 16 January 2023 as the Schpecktenian Libertarian Party. The Second Republic of Schpecktenia was a one-party system, but was abolished after the Two Days War. The party continued being the dominant party in the Second Republic until the Schpecktenian Moderate Nationalist Party branched off.
After the recreation of Schpecktenia, the party was reformed by an unknown person as the Libertarian Party of Schpecktenia. It focused on equal rights and believed in rehabilitation instead of punishment. After the Code of Laws II was passed, the party had no real goal, so they restructured into being against secessionism.
Influence in Schpecktenia
The party has been focusing on being against the Secessionist Party of Schpecktenia in recent days, and is supported by RPD Duke Tyler Allison of Shadoweghn. It has supporters in the executive and legislature, but most importantly was supported by Schpecktenia's Second Executive Officer, Colin Houston, up until late 2023.
