The Second Republic of Schpecktenia, more commonly known as Schpecktenia, was a micronation in Illinois and Missouri. The Second Republic was reformed into the Third Imperial Republic on 14 February 2023, after the Two Days War. Both of these nations operated differently than modern Schpecktenia, and had different land claims.
There was one political party during the Second Republic, the Schpecktenian Libertarian Party is still around in modern Schpecktenia.
The Second Republic's first enemy was the dissolved Republic of Fort Woodchuck, Ruby I planned to invade the nation because it took up way too much land and was socialist. The Second Republic did not, and would not, make any friendly relations with any communist, socialist, or fascist nations. Ruby I stated that they had no right to invade a country just to get rid of a government. The Second Republic would never be in a positive and diplomatic relationship if a government fell under those ideologies.
Etymology
Schpecktenia is a modified version of the president's last name, Specht. -tenia means "Land Of." The full name of Schpecktenia is "The Land of Specht."
History
The Grand Empire was ultimately deemed not usable, leading to the creation of the Second Republic of Schpecktenia. The flag was changed, the constitution was rewritten, and a proper government was established. Schpecktenia became present online, joining multiple discord servers. Schpecktenia partnered with Rycocia and the Kingdom of Turisa to form the Organization of Great States. Through the alliance organization, Schpecktenia met the Kingdom of Liveno. Liveno had few citizens, no military, and was considered a weaker nation. Ruby I decided it was a great opportunity to annex, so Schpecktenia declared war.
Schpecktenia-Liveno War (1/30 - 2/2/2023)
Schpecktenia immediately ordered the 1st Imperial Rifle Unit to invade Liveno. Thinking that Liveno would just cooperate being forced to give up land, Ruby I was very optimistic. The former nation the Kingdom of Roekistan announced their support for Schpecktenia. Schpecktenian forces occupied the Liveno embassy in the former nation Lanevinia. Schpecktenia also gained land in one of Liveno's states. The two nations make an effort to end the war, and they agree to end the war on 1 February. The nations produced many pieces of propaganda, which swayed Roekistan to support Liveno was well. Liveno then stated they would control Schpecktenia's province of St. Charles, which Ruby I mistook for an invasion. Schpecktenia's 31st Rangers Division then took a good piece of Liveno's state again. Liveno was sick of the war, so they surrendered. Liveno, Roekistan, and Schpecktenia decided the war ended in a draw, and the three signed the Treaty of Saint Louis.
Tranesid Period (2/2 - 2/14/2023)
The Tranesid Period was a ten day long period of Schpecktenia and Liveno establishing relations. The two became great allies, and the Colony of Merrifield was founded. The Province of St. Charles, being vastly culturally different, declares independence. The Schpecktenian People's Front is led by Luca Tallerico, being a close friend of Ruby I. Tallerico started the movement because he thought that the nation's policy on communist nations was extremely unfair.
Two Days War (2/12 - 2/14/2023)
Ruby I thought that the Schpecktenian People's Front (SPF) could be extremely dangerous, so Schpecktenia declared war. The Schpecktenian Civil War, or Two Days War, started off by the 1st Imperial Rifle Unit retaking the backyard of the Second Republic's capital. The Second Republic quickly advanced to surround the SPF's capital Matterhorn, but left after five minutes. The Kingdom of Turisa supported the SPF, so the Second Republic battle them online. Turisa lost, and withdrew from the war. At the very end of the war, The Kingdom of Liveno aided the Second Republic to raid the SPF's discord server. Tallerico surrendered, and the SPF was annexed.
A meeting with Ruby I, Luca Tallerico, Liveno, and the TDC Empire was held to discuss Tallerico's punishment. Schpecktenia ruled that Tallerico was to be fined 5 Marks. Tallerico stated that the constitution should be changed to prevent further uprisings. Ruby I lifted the ban on communist and socialist micronations.
Politics and government
The Second Republic had a strict one-party system, which practiced centrism, libertarianism, and Provincism.

Provinces function as the administrative regions of the Second Republic, and all leaders were instructed to follow Provincism. Provincism is the ideology that has few states with strong leaders with totalitarian qualities.
