The Schpecktenian Mark was created on 5 October, 2022, during the days of the Grand Empire of Schpecktenia. The imperial Mark looks much different from the new Mark, but there is no existing prints, images, or overall any trace of the imperial Mark. The Schpecktenian Mark has gone through some changes, such as being the introduction of a date and translated into Shpeck in June 2023, and the printing of actual numbers on the mark in August 2023

Etymology

The Mark's name is pretty simple, however the Havercin has a slightly more complex meaning, Havercin is the half coin, Haver sounding like half, and cin being close to the spelling of coin.

History

The Grand Empire of Schpecktenia invented the Mark, and it was used without any design changes until Schpecktenia was reformed into a Republic. The imperial version of the mark was backed by something different: maple syrup. Maple Syrup by the ounce was worth one mark during the Grand Empire of Schpecktenia.

When the government turned into a republic, a ten, twenty, and hundred mark were made, and the Mark was redesigned completely.

The Fourther Coin was abolished in June 2023, as well as a Five Mark being made in the same month.

In August 2023, a numerical amount was added to the top left corner of the mark.

New marks stopped being printed in November 2023, but will continue when government balance reaches below 100,000.

Coins

In June 2023, Schpecktenia started using "Elaut" coins (tokens that weren't supposed to come out of an arcade machine) as Havercins.

Every Mark has a small picture included, generated by AI. Some phrases describing Schpecktenia's beauty, power, and greatness were plugged into an AI image generator, and it turned the phrases into pictures.

Misprints

Often, the printer in the Grand Estate of Meadowen, where all marks are created, suffers an error with ink. On three different cases, marks have been printed with blue instead of green.

Value

The Mark is backed by any brand of Gummy Peach Rings. One peach ring is worth ten Marks. To find the value of current marks, the price of the bag of Gummy Peach Rings is divided by the amount of peach rings in the bag. The most recent backing states that One Mark is $0.005 USD.

Exchange rates

The last calculation, June 2023, found that $1.00 USD is equal to 200 Marks. Most Micronation's currencies have a much higher value, and Schpecktenia seeks to make trade with its allies. One of Schpecktenia's closest ally, Liveno, uses their dollar called the Dalub. One of Liveno's Dalubs is worth 5.18 Schpecktenian Marks
