The Democratic Monarchist Party of Schpecktenia is one of the lesser political parties in the Provincist Republic of Schpecktenia. The DMPS focuses on unifying all the Schpecktenian states into a unitary republic and establish Ruby Specht I as a monarch.
History
The party was created during the government reformations on 6 June 2023. The party was created by the Empire of Seluvia, originally wanting the party to be like one of theirs. Eventually, the party branched off to believe in absolute monarchism. Upon the creation of the Grand Assembly of Schpecktenia, many foreign representatives became senators to support the DPMS.
Influence in Schpecktenia
The party has been leaning towards favoring nationalist laws in Schpecktenia, especially with the Speaker of the Grand Assembly, Victor Salso, supporting DMPS. However, Victor Salso is also in the Executive Branch as a Representative Provincial Director, allowing the DMPS to have stronger influence.
Allegations of Collusion with New Prussia
The DMPS has been accused by rival parties of being backed and funded by the Kaiserreich of New Prussia, due to New Prussia being a monarchy and the nation expressing that it believes Ruby I should be a monarch.
