The Commonwealths of Ela'r'oech, or simply Elarian Commonwealths are self-proclaimed independent states who see the Monarch of the Empire of Ela'r'oech as their Monarch, or they are made a commonwealth by Charles I of Ela'r'oech. All the commonwealths of Ela'r'oech are part of the Greater Elarian Commonwealth, which is a loose union of micronations similar to the British Commonwealth of Nations. The Elarian Commonwealth system is very similar to the Elarian Realms, the only difference being most part of the commonwealth have Commonwealth in their name such as the Free Elarian Commonwealth of Zyva. The Elarian Commonwealth used to be known as the Elarian Realm until the title became Commonwealth, which the Realms functioned the same way a commonwealth functioned, save for more centralized and united organization between other Commonwealths.
There are currently 4 commonwealths which are Pontunia, Bushistan (Bush City), the Farlands, and Zyva. There was 1 Former Elarian Realm that was formerly a commonwealth, which was the United Commonwealth of Zeprana.
Commonwealth Brief History
Pontunia entry into the Commonwealth
Pontunia on 26 February 2023, Madgett v. Perdomo was filed and decided in favor of Charles Madgett, making him the disputed new monarch of Pontunia causing the break away from the commonwealth state of the Catholic Republic of Pontunia.
Zepranan and Zyvakenese entry into the commonwealth
Zyva was originally part of the commonwealth of the United Commonwealth of Zeprana as it was founded by Terry McKeen III and Charles Madgett, which left the commonwealth to become the Republic of Zeprana, later Zyva would leave the former Zepranan commonwealth as the Free Federal Republic of Zeprana and join the commonwealth during the Zeprano-Elarian War. The Zyvakenese name for the Elarian Commonwealth is the The Commonwealths of the Ela'r'oechian Empire.
Bushistan
Bushistan, not to be confused for the Republic became a commonwealth after the LENS occupation of the Republic of Bushistan city Bush City during a short conflict during a Communist North Carolinian micronation. Official recognition of Bush City being independent and part of Bushistan is yet to occur.
The Farlands
The Farlands were founded as Elarian abroad abroad territories of Ela'r'oech, before being collectively referred as the Farlands. They were comprised of multiple territories in Washington State, Florida, and Texas.
