Ian Clark is a notable Elarian micronationalist, veteran, and politician from the Empire of Ela'r'oech. Mostly serving as a residential politician, he has served as the President of Ela'r'oech since the Elarian federal elections, December 2023. He also has played for the Militia Land Soldiers in the Ela'r'oech Football League. He currently serves in the Elarian Armed Forces, since their reestablishment.

Services to Ela'r'oech

As an Elarian, Clark has served the Empire in many ways. While being a prominent member of the culture by playing in the Ela'r'oech Football League, he also has served as a soldier during the Elarian-Alarian Conflict. He is specifically remembered for his time during the First Alarian War and Second Alarian War. He also serves as a Representative-Member of Parliament (R-MP) for the Empire of Ela'r'oech. While serving as an R-MP, he helped write the Constitution of the Holy Empire of Ela'r'oech, as a part of the First Constitutional Convention.

Controversies

Clark is, while prominent and well-known among the residential Elarian community, extremely controversial for his views on Pontunia, the United Kingdom of the Great Bayou, and Carolusianism, specifically Neo-Carolusianism.

Neo-Carolusianism

Clark is an avid Neo-Carolusian, who has called for Emperor Charles to reconsider Ela'r'oech's recognition of the Kingdom of Pontunia after its actions in the Second Elarian Monarchy Dispute. He founded the Neo-Knights of Ela'r'oech, a group that states itself to be a 'Continuation of the true Elarian Empire seeking a united Bayou under the Emperor CAROLUS.' It was established on 1 October 2022, with him taking the position of Chairman the next day.
