|
The Elarian federal elections held in December 2023 were the second federal elections of the Empire of Ela'r'oech since it had reformed into the Holy Elarian Empire, with Ranaism as it's official religion. Elected offices for this election were the Chancellery and Presidency. There was no incumbent Chancellor, as the position had been vacant since mid 2022, making that the only point in history where Ela'r'oech did not have a Chancellor since it's first elections that same year.
Background
Procedure
In order to become a candidate, a nomination form must first be completed, stating full name, micronational address, party affiliation and signature, and returned to the current Head of Election Committee; they become a candidate as soon as the Committee declares their nomination valid. The Election Committee is required to make nomination forms available as soon as possible after an election is called. Candidates may withdraw at any time before the elections.
All candidates standing in federal elections must be over the age of 15.
Candidate eligibility
You cannot run for public office in Ela'r'oech if you are a convict, felon, terrorist, or spy in the nation. Additionally, all previous Prime Ministers of the nation and those representing an executive public office in the previous incarnation of the Empire of Ela'r'oech are eligible to run for any public office which will be elected in the federal elections.

Results
No territories or states voted early in these elections, however Ela'r'oech News Source projected Jaden Armstrong for Chancellor and Terry Jacobs for President early on in the voting process. However, with physical voting, many Elarian states and even UKGB colonies such as Raul shifted majorly in votes for Ian Clark. ENS would then project a 7-5 vote for the Chancellery elections. In the midst of the voting process, Andrew Perdomo joined the Ela'r'oech discord server and had an argument with candidate for Parliament, Anthony Ramirez. This argument would result in a shift again towards Jaden Armstrong, viewed as the more favorable candidate for local citizens.
The final results were as follows;
