Anthony Ramirez III is an Elarian micronational politician who served as the Prime Minister of the Empire of Ela'r'oech numerous times, including being the first and last person to hold the position. He also is a football player in the Ela'r'oech Football League, playing for the King's Royal Guard as a Quarterback. He holds the record for most points scored in the league and has gone on to be the most successful player, with his team winning the Championships for the annual Seasons of 2021 and 2022.
He first began to be known throughout the Bayou Sector as the ruler of the Kingdom of Alaria, especially noted for his actions as General of Alaria during the Elarian-Alarian Conflict. He would later then become aware of his actions as the Alarian public would found Neo-Alaria. This blatant protest of his government would encourage him to think about the future of his nation. A while later, he would join Neo-Alaria and the Elarians as he wanted to join the Parliament of Ela'r'oech. He would also go on to start the Carolusian party, inspired by Brandon Jacobs' contributions to the ideology of the same name. He would later leave the movement and party due to its increasingly extremist alignments.
In 2023, Ramirez would become more extremist himself. Having joined the Neo-Knights of Ela'r'oech, he would establish the Ela'r'oech Lew Elaroek party that same year. In 2024, he would collaborate with Terry Jacobs, brother of Brandon Jacobs, to establish the government system and political ideology known as National monarchism.
In 2024, Ramirez released a self-published book titled The Truth: My Fight For Elarian Liberation where he chronicles his micronational career from being King of Alaria to a citizen and politician in Ela'r'oech.
Political career
King of Alaria
Anthony Ramirez as King of Alaria was extremely nationalistic and warmongering. He used propaganda to his advantage to encourage local Alarians that Ela'r'oech was a massive threat that needed to be stopped. This would causue tensions between the two nations until they would begin the First Alarian War. This would become one of many wars a part of the Elarian-Alarian Conflict, including the Second Alarian War which would go on to cause the Alarian Civil War. This civil conflict would erupt into the founding of Neo-Alaria, which would encourage Anthony to be persuaded more to the Alarian public's perspective - which was very anti-war at the time - during the Third Alarian War. After the third war, Anthony - who still wanted to fight Ela'r'oech - decided to go with the public in keeping the peace. Though a short lived conflict, the Elarian-Alarian Cold War would also stop eventually, leading to the signing of the Cosma Convention. The signing of this document would symbolize the end of Anthony's influence in the nation of Alaria.
Ela'r'oech and the United Kingdom of the Great Bayou
Anthony would later join Ela'r'oech in the hopes to join Parliament. At the time of his arrival, many had animosity towards him and the nation was in unrest after the passing of Brandon Jacobs, an avid Carolusian; though at the time, the ideology held no name. Anthony would want to honor Brandon and would begin to talk to Charles and his supporters in parliament, including the Prime Minister at the time, Christoph Billung, who was serving as the nation's third Prime Minister. Holding interest towards Ela'r'oech proved helpful for experience as a micronationalist, as Anthony's brother had served as the nation's first Prime Minister during its founding.
Using his knowledge gained, he would win the Prime Minister elections next cycle, making him the fourth Prime Minister of the nation. He would take his nationalistic and warmongering personality traits from Alaria and move them over to Ela'r'oech. This would start Neo-Carolusianism, as small as it was. Only Anthony Ramirez and Terry McKeen would become Neo-Carolusians at the time. Anthony's term came to a close and he decided to help expand Charles' rule, rather than forge a path of influence as a Prime Minister, such as Christoph Billung.
Later, as the United Kingdom of the Great Bayou was founded, he would make his Neo-Carolusian views known. His Carolusian political party in Ela'r'oech would grow much support in the Bayou, as the opposition in the Kingdom was also becoming more extreme. As each side of the Elarian political spectrum became more extreme, Anthony and Terry would expand the influence of their side, gaining support from many newer Elarian officials.
Elarian Empire
After the Great Bayou collapsed, Anthony held onto his influence. Though it waned heavily after the nation went through reforms which left most Neo-Carolusians with little power. Later on, he would begin to expand his influence in September 2022 as he would help Andrew Perdomo gain the Carolusian vote. Carolusian influence grew as more began to reside in Elarian territory. The idea of a government filled with Carolusians was Anthony's goal, which would only become more inevitable as the Doyle Territory was incorporated into the Empire of Ela'r'oech.
After Andrew's betrayal, he would run on his own for the re-elections, as personal issues from Perdomo influenced the public into considering him unfit to serve as Prime Minister. He won by a considerable majority against the Elarian Prince Aidan I. He ran on a notably expansionist and nationalist platform, calling it "Ela'r'oech First." As he became the nation's Prime Minister once again, he had determined by that point that a Carolusian government was needed as he would begin talks with Charles Madgett and Terry McKeen III to reincorporate Zeprana as an Elarian territory to help form an Elarian ethno-state.
After unsuccessful discussions, Ramirez would accidentally inspire the founding of the Neo-Knights of Ela'r'oech after leaving the Neo-Carolusian movement. He would later on not run for Chancellor of Ela'r'oech, becoming a moderate citizen engaged in the cultural activities of the nation, rather than politics.
Later, in 2023, Ramirez would join Elarian politics once more and serve as a staunch nationalist, contributing to the current Ela'r'oech-Pontunia relations which we still see the effects of today. He would also contribute to the ideology known as National Monarchism and then inspire the reestablishment of the Church of Ela'r'oech, advocating for Christoph Billung to serve as Archbishop.
Football career
He had already been a player for the Ela'r'oech Football League, and after leaving the political sphere, he would see even greater success in the 2022 EFL Season playing for the King's Royal Guard as a Quarterback. He became the player with the record for most points scored in the league in 2021 after getting 10 points total throughout his career, which has since gone up to 14. His team - the KR Guards - would win the 2022 EFL Seasonal Championship on 14 November 2022, with the total score being 5 - 6. Ramirez also holds the record for the highest pass completion rate at 74%, and the record for the most yards ran at 86.
