The Church of Ela'r'oech is an officially recognised Christian denomination in Ela'r'oech and Pontunia, the church is in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. The church describes itself as "a Catholic particular Church with Elarian religious customs."

The church conducts most of its activities in English, or both languages. Latin has also been recognized by the church as a language of significant historical and cultural value and serves as the only religious institution recognized by the Government of Ela'r'oech.

The church is led by the Archbishop of Ela'r'oech . The current Archbishop of Ela'r'oech is His Excellency Christoph Billung.

Archbishop

The Archbishop is the specific title given to the bishop who serves as the leader of The Church of Ela'r'oech. The Archbishop is the de facto ruler of the The Church of Ela'r'oech but is also primus inter pares, first among equals. Their duties are to oversee the actions of the church and preserve the church's unity, customs and ethics as well as the application of God's Word.
