Tyler Brazier was also the 4th and 6th Vice President of the Arstotzkan Union and Peter Gedye was the 2nd Vice President of the Arstotzkan Union (which to this day stands as the shortest term of a Vice President of the Arstotzkan Union). Peter was the Vice President for eleven days.
On 1 June 2023, Wesley Von Dookington became the 8th Vice President of the Arstotzkan Union. He is the first person not to come from New Zealand as an Arstotzkan citizen and become a member of government.

Role
The Vice President of the Arstotzkan Union has always been an interesting role. Created on 22 August 2019 as the second in command to the President of the Arstotzkan Union, the role served as a check on presidential power. It has always been a highly respected position and has always held the most respected members of government.
The role of Vice President in the modern context of Arstotzkan politics is to act as a third party in official decision making. They also provide a crucial role in supporting the functions of the Arstotzkan Federal Government by acting as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Assembly and passing on any information and requests from government to the Office of the Presidency.
The Vice President also holds the role of supporting both presidents in the event they are unable to carry out their duties. As they are in the third position for presidency, the Line of Succession in the Arstotzkan Union requires them to be ready to be appointed to either be the First or Second President at a moments notice. This has happened a few times in the past. On 5 January 2021, incumbent First President Ethan Brinkman resigned and announced he would step down from major Arstotzkan politics for six months and appointed Zion Ormsby as the First President. This was the first time a sitting president used the line of succession to have a Vice President take over.
More recently in January 2024, Second President Peter Gedye also stepped down and Vice President Wesley von Dookington took over after being approved by an emergency session of the Executive Committee.
