Phillipe I of Iordan (n 4 November 1963, Bucharest, Romania, d.18 May 2022, Islaz, Romania) is the first child of the former sovreign King Dimitri I of Istria & Queen Maríe I of Istria. In 2017, after his father's death, he took power of the crown of Istria.

It is the Head of the House of Princes and Royal Family, after Her Majesty Queen Maríe, gave him the majority of her royal duties.

Biography

Childhood and Education

Phillipe was born in Bucharest as a member of the royal society. He was the first child of the royal couple, becoming the crown prince of Istria on his 18th birthday. Although he was a prince, he has been a military cadet and has also graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Romania.

Marriage

He married the woman of his life, Ninna of Vistación, the child of Duke Boris of Vistación and Duchess Karla of Vistación. They wed on 4 November 1993. Their love has been a motive in many literature writings. In 2018, on their 25th anniversary, they have been celebrated their silver wedding.

Reign

Prince Phillipe has been the crown prince of Istria since 2017 when his dad died. He since has been the leading figure of the royal family and a great environmental activist.

He has encountered many crises and has discussed with many political leaders about Istria's international and intermicronational importance. He has also promoted the royal importance in the Istrian society, and on different occasions has said that "it stays at the base of the Istrian society".

He is a patron of number of charities and promotes human rights. He is also a church supporter, his family being based around the church beliefs.

He died in 2022 after being diagnosed with lung cancer. His death has come as a surprise to the extended family, as his health situation has been kept a secret for over 2 months, fearing tragic reactions from the extended family. HM The Queen has been informed of his death and declared that she will be in sorrow until her own demise. The funerals took place on the 20th of May and was attended by over 1.000 people. The death of the yound 58 years old Prince came as a tragedy within the family and thruout the friends of HRH.
