The Order for Diplomatic Merit is the highest national order of merit of the Cheskgariyan-Litvanian Commonwealth and the fourth highest order conferred by the nation. Established on 4 March 2021 by a royal decree issued by the Grand Duke of Litvania, the order is conferred on foreign and domestic diplomats for a long period of service and distinguished contributions to the nation.

Grades and insignias

Grades

The Order for Diplomatic Merit is conferred in three distinct grades – Member Special Class, Member First Class and Member Second Class. All recipients of the order are entitled to bear post-nominals of the order. Members Special Class bear the post-nominals of SDM, Members First Class bear that of FDM, while Members Second Class bear the post-nominals of that of DM.
