The Assemblic Sector, known also as the Assemblic Civilization or the Assemblosphere is a micronational sector located across England. Established by the First Assemblic Empire in 2015, the Assemblic Sector comprises of the region of Assemblia and all areas influenced and colonized by peoples living in the region. As of 2022, the sector comprises of most of the Assemblic Empires' former claims and territories.

The Assemblic Sector has had a tumultuous and rich history, with dozens of conflicts and interactions between micronations. It has influenced a multitude of micronations in both New England and elsewhere.

Spearheaded by the Fontasian people, the Assemblic Sector advanced in military, political, economic and technological fields throughout its history despite many regime changes and downfalls. The Assemblians pioneered in colonization which helped further expand influence abroad in their respective region. Colonies were established as far south as Florida and as far north as Maine.

The sector has been unified under one nation or empire multiple times, mostly being the Assemblic Empires, however some regional organizations have existed such as the Assemblic Union and the Assemblic Commonwealth.

Influenced Micronations and Sectors

The Assemblic Sector, in early 2022 began to influence other sectors abroad in the micronational community. The first micronation to be exerted on with influence was the Buddie Union, however they remained mostly culturally distinct.

The Kingdom of Bristolia succeeded Zeprana in the Assemblic Sector's southern ally, and the Bristolians themselves consider that they are apart and have been influenced by them. The borrowed many Assemblian values in the development of their micronation, due to the close relations between Fontasia and Bristolia.

In Fall 2022, the Kingdom of Fontasia made contact with the Princedom of Gilford, a micronation located in New Hampshire. The two micronations also developed close ties, however cultural exchange is slowly occurring.

The Assemblic Sector briefly influenced the Zepranan Sector, however after several disagreements and deterioration of ties the Zepranans returned to Elarian and Bayou Sector influence. The Assemblic Sector in late 2022 began to influence the Galway Sector with the establishment of Fontasian Galvegia in Ireland.

Formerly Influenced Micronations

The Zepranan Sector[a] was a notable sector that was greatly influenced by Assemblian culture, a developing sector also located in New England. This sector was never colonized by the Assemblic Sector. Some Assemblians consider the Zepranan Sector was going to become the successor to the Assemblic Sector in terms of regional influence in the coming years. However, shortly after this the Zepranan Sector quickly became regional rivals with the Assemblic Sector, and relations deteriorated.

Geographical Definitions

The Assemblian region geographically is located in central Massachusetts, in the border region of the inland highland regions and the coastal plains.

Etymology

The words "Assemblia" and "Assemblic" derive from the mercenary groups known as "Assembles" present to conquer the regions surrounding Fontasia during the Fontasian Provisional Government during the Fontasian Revolution of 2015. The term then was used to describe the regions surrounding Fontasia by Fontasians.

History

Main article here Assemblian History

Former and Present Assemblian Territories.

The Assemblian Sector constructed a vast colonial empire across New England and elsewhere. Although most territories' claims were never enforced by the many imperial governments, there were a few notable colonies that stayed closely within the Assemblian sphere of influence. Across the empire, culture and tradition flourished. The Assemblian colonial empire reached its height in 2021, with a land area nearly twice the size of the city of Detroit being claimed. The empire's structure varied over the years, but it mostly consisted of the integral Home Provinces in Assemblia and surrounding regions, the Colonies, or the easily controlled and more culturally Assemblian territories on Cape Cod and other areas. And the least controllable claims known as Realms which spread from as far west as California to as far east as Bermuda. Most Realms were never even visited by any Assemblian in their entire existence. The rise of the Kingdom of Fontasia saw the integralization of the more culturally aligned colonies.

There has been four waves of Assemblian colonialism. The first being between the formation of Fontasia in 2013, lasting up until the fall of the First Assemblic Empire in 2016. The first wave saw the Fontasian colonization of Lewisia and the Fontasian Conquest of Assemblia, as well as the establishment of Wamesia. The second wave began after the establishment of the Second Assemblic Empire in late 2016 up to the establishment of the Third Assemblic Empire in December 2017. The second wave saw the colonization of Mappal, the beginning of the Corrigith Forest colonization and the Hexan Wars. The third wave began after the establishment of the Third Empire up until the Fall of 2019. During the third wave, Assemblia came into contact with the Empire of the Fleetwoods, further expanded its borders in Assemblia as well as other regions. The fourth wave of Assemblian colonialism began after the establishment of the First Assemblic Federation in October 2019 up until the collapse of the Second Assemblic Federation in February 2022. The fourth wave was by far the most extensive in territorial gains for Assemblia, as the Himorcas and various other regions were claimed and visited, as well as the Great Liberation causing many territories to be released. The final and current fifth wave began on 1 March 2022 with the establishment of the Kingdom of Fontasia. During this period, the Kingdom of Fontasia explored the Atvan Forest, integrated the former Assemblian colonies as core provinces, decolonized the Mappal region, annexed new lands in Ohio, Ireland and Florida from various allied micronations, completed the Corrigith Expedition's exploration of the Corrigith Forest and initiated the Rye Colonization program.

The Assemblias (2004-????)

The Assemblias, the home provinces and metropolis of the Assemblian colonial empire were located in central Massachusetts, in the regions surrounding Fontum. Consisting of three major regions, Assemblia Proper, Western Assemblia and Eastern Assemblia. The Assemblias were the seat of power in the empire, and was the home of the bureaucrats, military generals, intelligentsia and much more. Science and culture flourished in the Golden Ages of 2017 and 2018.

Assemblia Proper (2004-????)

Assemblia Proper, was the immediate provinces and territories surrounding the imperial capital of Fontum, the center of Assemblian civilization. The Fontasian Tribes existed in the southwestern part of the region since approximately 2004, but the region was first unified by Fontasia in 2015. the region had dozens of wars and conflicts fought within it, most notably the Hexan Wars, the Civil Wars and the Barbaric Invasions of Hudsennia. The region is the most historically rich region, as it is the birthplace of Fontasian and Assemblian civilization. The Corrigith Forest was colonized over nearly a decade by Fontasian frontiersmen and explorers, encouraged by the Corrigith Expedition, a government chartered company that held a monopoly in the region. Assemblia Proper was the location of many cities key in Assemblian national and cultural development. Centropolis, Amsters, Millis and Frasem-Isovo propelled Assemblian technological and cultural development to new heights. Assemblians from this region usually owned estates in the Colonies, which kept them close to the Home Provinces.

Eastern Assemblia (2016-2022)

Eastern Assemblia was the provinces east of Assemblia Proper. The region was not greatly involved with the bureaucracy of Assemblia Proper but acted as a barrier and frontier from barbaric attacks from the Hudsennians to the north. Major cities included Panov, Cappad after the conquest and integration of the Empire of the Fleetwooods and Hudsen after the pacification of the Hudsennians. Eastern Assemblia was the homeland of the Fletovian civilization, which slowly integrated after many years into the Assemblian Sector, while being culturally independent for some time. The Hudsennian tribes north of the frontier of the Cilomoro (Assabet) River frequently raided the region, most notably in the Hudsennian Invasions of 2017 and 2018. The defiant Lorkish peoples resided here as well. The region was only first explored by Assemblians in 2016, and Assemblians over the years slowly expanded into the region. In 2017, the eastern limits of the empire were around Lake Sudva (Sudbury Reservoir) and by 2021 the eastern limits were as far east as Lake Cochituate. The disastrous Cappadanian War took place there in 2021. Eastern Assemblia was popularized for its taverns and wild lands.

Western Assemblia (2017-2022)

Western Assemblia were the provinces west and north of Assemblia Proper. The region was far more involved with Assemblian affairs than its eastern counterpart. The region acted as a western frontier and was never a site of any major barbaric conflicts against natives or raiding peoples. Major cities such as Hyberthnum, Vespum, Ped and Calibora were frequently visited by Assemblians of the Home Provinces. The original extent of the region was Hyberthnum in 2017, when exploration of the region initiated to in 2021 extending as far west as Auburn, Massachusetts and as far north as West Boylston, Massachusetts. Western Assemblia was known for its locally produced chocolate and numerous baseball parks.

Massadorian (Cape Cod) Colonies (2013-????)

The Massadorian (Cape Cod) Colonies of the Assemblian colonial empire were scattered holdings of Assemblian settlements on the [[w:Cape_Cod Cape Cod peninsula]. The first Assemblian settlement in the region, established by the Fontasian Rennite tribe was Namskaket Plantation, a small town settled on a tidal marsh in the northern portion of the peninsula. The town established between 2007 and 2009 as a Rennite settlement and was subsequently given to the young Fontasian Republic in 2013. However, the Republic relinquished claims to the settlement after a new settlement was founded along Lewis Bay in the central part of the peninsula. The Colony of Lewisia was established, with the city of Lewisport being founded. In the years following, Lewisia's claim expanded across most of the central parts of the peninsula, and by 2017 the colony was known as the Colony of Massadoria. Lewisia then encompassed all of the peninsula and surrounding islands by 2018, Block Island and some of Long Island was also claimed for the colony as well. In 2021, the colony was renamed to the United Colonies of Massadoria, a dominion of many smaller colonies. At its maximum extent, the region spread as far north as Scituate, Massachusetts, as far west as Old Saybrook,|Connecticut] and included nearly half of Long Island, Block Island and the Rhode Island and Connecticut coastlines. The colonies were known as the "Gold Colony" of Assemblia, as it was by far the most important holding of the Assemblian colonial empire.

The colony was treated as the coastal Assemblia Proper, as Lewisport quickly became a secondary capital. Iyan, Ibre, Varrin, Combre and Port Sagamore became important cities. The mixture between local culture and mainland Assemblian culture created a unique Massadorian identity. After the Great Liberation of 2021, the colony lost most of its territory, only truly comprising of Lewisport. In the Fontasian era, the region became the scene of the Dilu conflicts and an area of great intermicronational influence. Lewisport is regarded as the second capital still to this day. The territory was well-known for its beaches, cuisine and tourist activities.

Wamesian Colonies (2016-????)

The Wamesian colonies are Assemblian colonial holdings in the [[w:Merrimack_Valley Merrimack Valley] of Massachusetts. The region was considered as the "Silver Colony" of Assemblia as it came behind Massadoria in importance politically and territorially to the Assemblian colonial empire. Established as two colonies in 2016 as Livingstonia and Rundia. Livingstonia was the more important colony at the time, and Rundia was located at modern day Dobrok. By the end of 2016 the two colonies merged into Wamesia, with Livingstonia as its first capital. The region was relatively peaceful, although the colony was frequently attacked by the Althamian peoples to the south. The colony slowly expanded. In 2017 the capital was moved from Livingstonia to Merrima, a newly settled region along the Carrathone (Merrimack) River. In 2018 the capital was moved to Rundia, now known as Dobrok. The beginning of the Assemblian Revolution of November 2018 began at the Dobrok Raid, where pro-monarchists took control of the colony in their pursuit of retaking control of mainland Assemblia. The colony was then operated by a Corrigith Expedition subsidary company known as the Dobrach Company in order to develop forest forts in the Dobrocian wilderness. The colony was lost to the Althamians and the rival Creganians after the Fall of '19. Fontasian troops from Assemblia lead an attempted recapture of the colony in the summer of 2019 but were defeated by the Althamians. In 2020, the Creganians were granted independence by the Assemblic Federation. The colony was greatly expanded during the Assemblic Imperium era, conquering small enclaves in nearby areas. Notable enclaves were Ducavia, a local shopping mall and Hanscomia, a military base only visited twice by Assemblians. The Assemblians then went to war with the Creganians due to expansion interests. By 2021, the colony extended from North Andover, Massachusetts to Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and was also devolved into the United Colonies of Wamesia, similar to Massadoria. In the Fontasian era, the last remaining holdout of Assemblian influence in the region is in Dobrok, which is a major rocket testing site for the Fontasia].

Devenian Colonies (2017-2021)

The Devenian colonies were located along the Nashua River in central-east Massachusetts. Only visited sparsely by Assemblians, the colonies also originated as two separate colonies in 2017, Devenia and Granitia. Devenia consisted of a large grass playing field and Granitia was a housing development. Granitia gained its name due to the observation by Assemblians of the presence of a lot of granite stone, as the colony was located in an extensive construction site. The colony was considered a forgotten colony along with Mappal. In 2019, Granitia was annexed by Devenia, connecting the colonies and consolidating the region into Devenia. The colony was released from Assemblian control in 2021 during the Great Liberation. The territory was infamous for its lacrosse tournaments, a sport that would only become popular in mainstream Assemblian culture in 2022.

North Coast and Salician Colonies (2016-????)

The North Coast and Salician colonies were a group of holdings along the North Shore of Massachusetts and the New Hampshire shoreline. Originally established in 2016, the colonies were visited in the summer months by Assemblians. The region was grouped as the Colony of Salicia from 2016 to 2020. In 2018 an imperial vacation happened in the colony, where naval drills took place. The colony was greatly expanded to the Cape Ann Peninsula and to Maine in 2020 by the Imperium. An Assemblian expedition to Arcath Island took place in April 2021. The colony was also a devolved colony as well, becoming the United Colonies of Salicia in 2021 as well. In August 2021 an Imperial visit to the city of Salicium took place. During the Fontasian era, a visit to Rye was made in May 2022 and another trip was made in late July 2022 as well. The colony is well renowned for its extremely cold ocean water, surfing and the long tidal flats that occur in Rye and Cullenbor.

Mappalian Colony (2017-2022)

The Mappalian colony, undisputedly the least visited territory by the Imperial family in the Assemblic colonial empire after the Realms was a small outpost in northern New Jersey. It was established in 2017 as Assemblian New Amsterdam, due to its proximity to New York City. The territory was known for its rebellious population, which was exemplified in the first recorded Assemblian visit of the Imperial family to the territory in April 2017. The Imperial family was ambushed by local militants who opposed Assemblian control in what was known as the Mappalian Revolt. The militants were suppressed and the Imperial family left the territory. From that point forward until 2022, there were no Assemblian visits to the territory, yet it remained under the control of the Assemblic colonial empire. It was renamed to Mappalia in 2018, during the 4th Assemblic Empire. The 2022 visit was caused by the Fontasian government's destined abandonment of the colony, therefore they decided to visit the small territory for the last time. The rather shady aspects of the areas around the colony only furthered Fontasia's goal to abandon the area completely. On 7 August 2022 the colony was free from colonial control, and the Fontasian royal family left the territory for what would be the last time under Assemblian occupation. Mappalia was known for its rebellious population, beautiful mansions and Italian restaurants.

Protectorate and Colony of Gilecia (2019-2022)

In early 2019, Assemblians occupied a territory held by long-time allies, the Rentamians after their government collapsed due to internal crises. The Assemblian occupiers established the Protectorate of Gilecia as a result in the region. The territory was given a great degree of autonomy from authority in Fontum, similar to a realm. The region despite being occupied was extremely loyal to the Empire. In 2020, the Phrocian War was fought in the capital city of Rentam. Another visit was made in 2021 to the capital city as well. The territory expanded westwards after the visit. The protectorate was upgraded to a colony status after the establishment of the Second Assemblic Federation. After the collapse of the Second Assemblic Federation, the region was granted independence.

The Southern Colonies and Realms (2017-2020)

The Assemblian colonial empire set up a few outposts and small settlements south of Mappalia in the Southern United States and in Bermuda. Only two of these territories were actually visited by Assemblians.

Conoria Colony (2017-2017)

Conoria Colony was a brief Assemblian colonial holding in central Florida and the southernmost Assemblian colonial holding to this day. Established during a vacation to the area by the Assemblian Imperial family, it was proposed the territory would remain a colony, but it never was successfully achieved. Assemblians spent a week in the colony before returning north to Assemblia, abandoning Florida completely. .

Himorcan Colonies (2019-2021)

The Himorcan colonies were three colonies established by Assemblians in central Virginia and northern North Carolina, on the Outer Banks. The Himorcas, the Assemblian name for the Outer Banks was first visited by Assemblian colonists from Wamesia and Mappalia in the summer of 2019, establishing Fort Himorca. However, there was no central Assemblian government to claim the territory, due to the collapse of the Assemblian government in March 2019. When the Assemblic Federation was established in October 2019, the Himorcas were claimed for Assemblia, and a colonial expedition was planned for 2020. In June 2020, one more territory was added to the colony, known as Muranto Settlement, which was located in Richmond, Virginia. In late July 2020, the Imperial family landed at an airport in Muranto Settlement and embarked on the journey south to the Himorcas.

They stopped at a tavern north of Williamsburg, Virginia which was also claimed for the Himorcas, being named Arcenburg by Assemblians. They then arrived at Fort Himorca, the colonial capital and spent a week at the colony. They then left for the last time, returning to Muranto Settlement and flying back to Assemblia one day later.

The Himorcas remained Assemblian colonies until the Great Liberation in 2021.

Realm of Surijom (2019-2021)

The Realm of Surijom was an Assemblian realm which comprised over much of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda. The Assemblian government claimed the realm for reasons unknown to this day. It was the only Assemblian territory on British territory. The realm was released in 2021 during the Great Liberation.

The Western Realms (2018-2021)

Similar to the Southern Colonies, the Western Realms were scattered Assemblian outposts never visited by any Assemblians in California and Colorado. The main purpose was to connect ancestral Imperial relatives to the government in Fontum, however most of these relatives have never been met by the Imperial family.

Californian Realms (2018-2021)

Several scattered territories were claimed by Assemblians in San Diego and the Central Valley of California, because the Imperial family's relatives lived there. Limited information remains about these territories, only that they provided cookies to Fontum in December and jam in the summer months as payment to the Imperial government. Hence they have been nicknamed the "Cookie Colonies" by some Assemblians.

Realm of Vaduria (2021-2021)

The Assemblian territory in Colorado was Vaduria, a mountainous region outside of Boulder, Colorado. Mappalian colonists set out to the region to colonize it and claim it for Assemblia. The territory proved no use to the colonial empire however.

Bostonian Realms (2018-2022)

The Assemblic colonial empire multiple times claimed land in Boston, Massachusetts, known as Lecal by Assemblians. The first colonial establishment occurred in 2018, however Assemblians did not visit. In 2020 however another colonial establishment occurred, creating Assemblian Lecalia. The Imperial family visited the territory shortly before the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic, and it is presumed the virus first spread arrived in the territory from elsewhere. The second 2020 visit was made when the Himorcas expedition occurred, the Imperial family stayed at the territory before disembarking for Muranto.

Realms and Claims Globally and elsewhere (2017-2020)

The Assemblian colonial empire briefly had a global colonial empire twice. The territories were never visited by Assemblians.

Assemblian East India (2020-2021)

Assemblian East India was an Assemblian claim and briefly a realm in the Phillipines. Only lasting for only a week, Mappalian colonizers visited the territory.

Assemblian Madagascar (2017-2017)

Although extremely unclear if true, the Second Assemblic Empire possibly may have laid claim to a small amount of territory in southern Madagascar. This is fiercely debated by historians however.

Assemblian Antarctica (2017-2017)

The Assemblian colonial empire may have laid claim to Marie Byrd Land in Antarctica for a time in 2017.

Assemblian Maine (2017-2017)

Assemblia briefly took control of the coastline of Old Orchard Beach, Maine for a time. The colony lasting only around three days was visited by the Imperial family.

Gandzen Realm (2021-2021)

In the summer of 2021, the Assemblian colonial empire colonized a small settlement in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the northernmost Assemblian claim ever established. Visited by the Imperial family on a weekend vacation, the colony was a base for Assemblian naval exercises along its lake coastline.

Fontasian Protectorates (2022-????)

During the existence of the Kingdom of Fontasia, several new regions were claimed and colonized by Assemblians.

Assemblian Galway (Governorate of Galvegia) (2022-????)

In September 2022, the Protectorate of Galvegia was established in Galway, Ireland. It is the only European territory colonized by Assemblians. The Galway Troubles occurred there between Fontasia and an Islamic terrorist group. On 9 December 2022, the Protectorate would be upgraded to Governorate, becoming the first Fontasian Governorate outside of North America.

Assemblian Ohio (Governorate of Blue Oak) (2022-????)

A small piece of territory ceded by the Empire of Meritia that was gained during the Merito-American War in Ohio. It was established as a Protectorate on 2 November 2022, and later became a Governorate on 2 February 2023.

Assemblian Trasona (Protectorate of Trasona) (2022-????)

A small territory known as the Protectorate of Trasona bordering the Kingdom of Scynja and periodically the Dairaji Federation was established in Florida. The territory was named for the obsolete micronation of Trasona, a former Fontasian ally. The territory was established on 24 December 2022.
