The 2022 Monarchist Party premiership election was an internal party vote that decided the nomination for Prime Minister. After a several day gridlock of the votes, the polls were closed and Christina I & II made an announcement stating that Arthur Lacey-Scott-FitzLacia would become the new nominee, favouring the popular votes in the polls due to the gridlock of the official vote.
On 20 September 2022 Arthur Lacey-Scott-FitzLacia submitted a challenge to the upcoming nomination for Prime Minister within the Monarchist Party in Cycoldia in preparation for the upcoming September Elections and re-confirmation of the Prime Minister, as the third term of Avery Prasatik is to end on 14 October 2022. The challenge was then put up to a vote to members of the Monarchist Party to change the nomination from Avery Prasatik to Arthur Lacey-Scott-FitzLacia.
Results
The results were quite split in how they favoured, as the vote first drifted towards Lacey-Scott before becoming tied and then remaining that way for the duration of the vote, which then left it up to the party leader to select a nominee, which Christina I & II later then did in favour of Lacey-Scott, who had pulled away in polls with a lead by over 60%.
Polling
On 21 September 2022 polling was opened up to the general public on public opinion for who was preferred as Prime Minister. The poll was opened by Grandeur Print.
