Sir Seán James Mark O'Neill, 2nd Grand Prince of Norðurlöndin known by his pseudonym Dagda (born 21 December 2006) is an Irish-Elysiumite politician, attorney, writer, media producer. O'Neill has served as Chancellor since June 2024, Leader of the Progressive Party since March 2024 and as a Grand Senator from Daeltheria since May 2023. O'Neill is a local citizen of Daeltheria.
Previously, on the federal level O'Neill served as Robert Smith's last Deputy Chancellor between April and November 2021, Deputy Speaker of the Grand Senate between October 2023 and March 2024. O'Neill was briefly the Leader of the Progressive Party following Adam Johnston's resignation in the aftermath of the restoration of the Monarchy and has previously served as Grand Senator initially from July 2020 until September 2021 and again from September 2022 until January 2023. Prior to his appointment as Chancellor, O'Neill served as Leader of the Opposition between March and June 2024.
Within Daeltheria he previously served as Prime Minister between November 2020 until September 2021 in addition to being a member of it's Parliament between 2020 and 2021. Locally O'Neill was responsible for municipal governance of New Antrim between 2020 and 2022. In 2024, O'Neill replaced Thomas Bainbridge as the acting chief representative of Daeltheria.
Early Life
Seán O'Neill was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 21 December 2006. He would be baptized into the Catholic faith shortly after his birth. During his Primary school education it would be discovered that O'Neill was affected by developmental coordination disorder, at his primary school he undertook the sacraments of initiation before moving on to attend Secondary School where he completed his GCSE examinations attaining Two A*s in Business Studies and ICT, As in English Language, History and Religion, a B in Performing Arts and a C* in Mathematics.
In 2017, O'Neill founded New Antrim along with his family which started his micronational career. In 2020, New Antrim would become a part of the Kingdom of Daeltheria despite attempts to restore the nation in 2021 and 2023 - 2024.
Early Political Career
O'Neill was naturalized as an Elysiumite citizen on 7 February 2020, his early political pursuits included attempting to contest a seat in the Grand Senate during the May 2020 general election and leading a Communist Party between June and July 2020 however O'Neill joined the Progressive Party in the runup to the July 2020 general election where he was elected as a Grand Senator representing Daeltheria. O'Neill would continue to serve Daeltheria until September 2021 when he stood down from the Grand Senate.
O'Neill gained notoriety for using his position as Editor-General of the Progressive Party's newspaper, The Liberty Papers - the Progressive Truth to advocate for the implementation of a Socialist economic system.
In November 2020, O'Neill successfully negotiated the incorporation of New Antrim into the Kingdom of Daeltheria under the Elysiumite [New] Antrim Unification Treaty and would serve as the head of it's municipal government until 2022.
Premiership in Daeltheria (2020 - 2021)
In October 2020, O'Neill was appointed as interim Prime Minister of Daeltheria ahead of elections in November. O'Neill, as Progressive Regional Leader, won those elections and renewed his premiership with a 67% majority.
O'Neill's first cabinet included entirely Progressive members of Parliament but included the Leader of the Opposition. In December 2020, O'Neill called snap elections which saw his government renewed with a 71% majority.
Under O'Neill's premiership, Daeltheria formally recognised the creation of Elysium's new republican constitution, previously Daeltheria had interacted with the federal government as if it still operated under an imperial system.
On 15 February 2021, the digital hub of the Elysiumite Government located on Discord was hit by a raid by a user known as 'Fear the Horde of Rantov' who allegedly had links with the USR, within roughly half an hour the raider had breached the Daeltherian Government Hub through invites on the Federal Server. Within minutes O'Neill had declared a state of emergency and had put the Daeltherian Government Hub and the New Antrian Government Hub on a 'lockdown' with approval from the federal cabinet. During the state of emergency, the February 2021 elections in Daeltheria were delayed. On 19 February 2021 the State of Emergency officially ended.
O'Neill's government was renewed in the February 2021, during O''Neill's final term he attempted to enact constitutional amendments to the opposition of the federal government which blocked his attempts.
The September 2021 Daeltherian Elections resulted in a hung Parliament, the Daeltherian Progressives held 4 seats and the Daeltherian Social Democratic Party and Daeltherian National Democrats both won 2 seats each. Initially, it looked likely that O'Neill would form a coalition Government with the SPD, however soon thereafter, the National Democrats and SPD formed the 'Democratic Coalition' resulting in the Progressives and Democratic Coalition being tied within Parliament. At this stage, O'Neill had lost favour with Robert Smith, still acting as the Royal Regent who allowed the SPD-led Democratic Coalition to form a new government, led by Merk Brandt.
Post-Premiership in Daeltheria
Following his Premiership, O'Neill still attempted to cling onto power. His final attempt at doing so was trying to get a Democratic Coalition member to be elected as Speaker of Parliament. This would have resulted in a reduction of one member in the Democratic Coalition giving the Daeltherian Progressives A narrow 57% majority, this attempt however failed.
This resulted in a wider failure to elect a Speaker resulting in the internal destruction of Daeltherian politics. Robert Smith had stepped aside as Regent and Adhikari had nominally returned. However since he had vanished from Parliament there was no presiding officer to preside over a speaker election.
Attempts by Robert Smith and O'Neill failed, attempts by James Christian to directly intervene on behalf of his party likewise failed. O'Neill would remain a member of the Daeltherian Parliament until December 2021, leaving due to his departure from the wider Progressive Party earlier in the month. He would not return to Daeltherian politics until he attempted to contest the First Ministership (which had replaced the Premiership after the Commonwealth Reform Act) in May 2023, where he lost.
On 15 April 2024, O'Neill, as Progressive Party Leader appointed himself as Leader of the Daeltherian Progressive Leader, O'Neill is currently running unopposed for election to that seat during the July 2024 Progressive Party primaries.
O'Neill became ennobled within Daeltheria as His Grace the Duke of Greymont on 12 May 2024. Although O'Neill opts to use the style of Right Honorable.
Media career (2021 - present)
In February 2021, O'Neill began to speak publicly about founding a media production company named Partisan Productions. On 18 February 2021 Partisan Productions was officially registered with O'Neill serving as Chairman of the Board. O'Neill soon thereafter commissioned a Doctor Who audio series. Soon thereafter he commissioned a horror series from a close friend and fellow New Antrian local Quince Sloan. However Partisan Productions began to take a slide into inactivity following O'Neill's election as Deputy Chancellor. On 25 July 2021, the Partisan Productions Union was founded.
On 27 June 2022, O'Neill was formally asked by Robert Smith to produce Elysium the Movie. A script for Elysium the Movie was discussed by Moustapha Hoteit and Johann Kümmel in July 2021 and a script by Hoteit was published in February 2022. O'Neill formally commissioned the shortfilm on the same day as the Grand Emperor's request, recruiting Hoteit as the films director. Production on the film concluded on 27 June 2022 with O'Neill approving of it on the same day. The film premiered on 1 July 2022 in time for Elysium Day in Sir Kyle's Square. As Elysium Day coincides with Canada Day and as Hoteit is a Canadian Citizen who was participating in festivities related to Canada Day, O'Neill hosted the event and represented Partisan Productions. During the 2021 Elysium Day honours, O'Neill was granted permission by Robert Smith to rename Partisan Productions to "Imperial Elysium Studios".
Following the release of Elysium the Movie, a leak of a script for Elysium the Movie 2 appeared online on 17 July 2022, forcing O'Neill to release a statement denying that Elysium the Movie 2 had been ordered, or would be ordered which minimized hope for a sequel. However in fact several hours prior to that, O'Neill had assembled Hoteit and Kümmel to begin work on a project that would become Elysium the Movie 2. On 18 July 2023, O'Neill officially announced Elysium the Movie 2 and Elysium the Movie 3 to an overwhelmingly positive reaction. Although there were some public opponents, such as Christoph Billung, Elysium the Movie 2 was expected to release around Easter 2023, with Elysium the Movie 3 releasing on 1 July 2023.
On 1 March 2023, O'Neill announced that Elysium the Movie 2 would be delayed until 1 July 2023 and Elysium the Movie 3 was indefinitely delayed. However, Elysium the Movie 2 failed to release on 1 July 2023.
After going through "production hell", Elysium the Movie 2 was released on 1 July 2024, O'Neill in addition to publishing the film (which was almost entirely created by Johann Kummel, O'Neill cameoed in the film as a "voice on the telephone".
Deputy Chancellorship (2021)
O'Neill was approached by Smith in January 2021 regarding O'Neill's interest in running as Smith's running mate in the upcoming early elections for Chancellor following incumbent Deputy Chancellor Jayden Attlee's retirement from the post. O'Neill accepted. Following the elections in April which coincided with elections to the Grand Senate O'Neill was elected as Deputy Chancellor and Smith was re-elected as Chancellor. O'Neill assumed office on 18 April 2021.
O'Neill soon thereafter, became a highly polarizing and controversial figure in politics. O'Neill used his admin permissions on Elysium's digital portal on discord to become active in the National Conservatives (then the main opposition party, and predecessors to the National Democrats) which resulted in Smith, on behalf of Prime Minister Johnston directly telling O'Neill to stop misusing his authority.
Following the rise of the Monarchist movement led by Elliot Doe, O'Neill became the most outspoken supporter of republicanism. Going to extents to demonstrate his support for the Republic that was unprecedented among even the most radical of Progressives. For this, O'Neill had painted a target on his back and the Monarchists singled him out attempting to destroy his platform. During the campaigning of the First Monarchist Referendum, O'Neill publicly stated his intention to form an 'Elysiumite Republican Brotherhood' (based on an Irish organisation with a similar name) to maintain the Republic under any means necessary. Although later he did state that this was intended as a joke. O'Neill would, as a consequence of the first referendum issue a public apology through Liberty Papers before resigning as Editor-General of the newspaper.
Following the first monarchist referendum, which resulted in the public voting in favour to keep the Republic O'Neill's position semi-stabilized. During the October 2021 Grand Senate elections, alongside Smith, O'Neill chose to not run for re-election in the Grand Senate ending his service in the Grand Senate until September 2022.
However following affairs occurring in Daeltheria his fall to disgrace continued. O'Neill entered the Social Democratic Party's digital headquarters and upon learning that they had made a coalition deal in Daeltheria with the National Democrats which would have entailed a SPD led Cabinet, O'Neill feeling betrayed due to preliminary negotiations which would've formed a Progressive led coalition publicly debated with the Social Democrats. From this point onwards, O'Neill's position was untenable.
During the Second Monarchist Referendum, O'Neill kept a comparably low profile, although worked with the Cabinet to ensure that a 'weak monarchy' would be restored. Following the restoration of the Republic the republican Deputy Chancellorship was abolished (although the Deputy Premiership would be renamed to Deputy Chancellor, with James Christian of the SPD retaining that post) leaving O'Neill unemployed on a federal level.
O'Neill's tenure as Deputy Chancellor is thought to have inspired the character of Rutledge's Deputy in the Tale of Edgeboro written by Elliot Doe.
Post-Deputy Chancellorship
Leader of the Progressive Party
Following the loss of his office as Deputy Chancellor, O'Neill only remained as the Provost of New Antrim and as a Progressive Member of Parliament. However following Robert Smith's resignation from the party, O'Neill rapidly regained popularity especially amongst the Pro-Republican and Liberal Monarchist factions. Following the restoration of the Monarchy, O'Neill made no commitment to again restoring the Republic. On 27 November 2021, it was announced that Adam Johnston would resign as Leader of the Party immediately and as Chancellor following the next election.
O'Neill alongside two people from the 'Right wing' of the Party, including Thomas Bainbridge announced their candidacy. O'Neill would win the election primarily on a pragmatic Monarchist policy with focus on continuing the 'Johnston University' plan. However it is thought that the other Right-wing Progressive acted as a spoiler for Bainbridge. O'Neill's election was controversial as he had failed to attain a majority and if you added together the popular vote of the Right-Wing they would have defeated O'Neill.
On 12 December 2021, O'Neill was installed as leader which was immediately condemned by the National Democrats.
On 13 December 2021, O'Neill addressed the party for the first time announcing a 'Party Congress' for the Progressives to determine the party line going into the next elections. This move was met with scepticism within the party. On the same day, Doe began his campaign against O'Neill claiming he would continue to ignore the results of the monarchist referendum and that he would "keep driving regions into the ground" in addition to claiming that he had 34 violations of the Cabinet Reform Act.
On 15 December 2021, Bainbridge publicly called for a motion of no confidence in O'Neill's leadership. Members in the Party called for Jayden Attlee then Chairman of the Party to run. Attlee refused therefore the right and left of the party coalesced around Bainbridge.
All this activity occurred in the early morning for O'Neill, whenever he woke around 8AM he resigned as Leader and quit from the Party in an outrage stating "There is no radicals. And I am not one, not one anymore I tried to change but you bunch of bastards wouldn't accept. Take this as my notice of resignation you bastards. Your all traitors to the Republic". Around fifteen minutes later, O'Neill released a statement to the public statement which echoed his resignation letter. Following this at around 3PM, Johnston announced his early resignation as Chancellor as a direct consequence 'Bainbridge's Coup'.
Social Rehabilitation
O'Neill continued to languish in infamy. As a result of his departure from the Progressive Party, he was not selected as a Daeltherian Member of Parliament following their regional elections. Following the elections later that month, Doe was selected as Chancellor and in his first act dismissed O'Neill as Provost of New Antrim, depriving him of his last held public office. O'Neill's last attempt at political activity during this time was the attempted formation of a Republican Party of Elysium from Daeltherian MPs he still had contacts with.
O'Neill briefly returned to the Progressive Party on 13 April 2022. Quoting the videogame Grand Theft Auto 4 stating "Daddy's back bitches". Claiming that he had "returned by the will of God whenever questioned on who authorised his return.
In May 2022, O'Neill publicly withdrew from Elysiumite life due to a row with Doe. On 4 June 2022 he publicly returned stating that he did not wish to seek public office but simply wanted to continue Partisan Productions.
Following the release of Elysium the Movie 2, O'Neill used his newfound renown to return properly to the Progressive Party and in the September 2022 Elysiumite Senate election he returned briefly to the Grand Senate, although his term once again lapsed whenever he forgot to announce candidacy at the next election. However, he was re-elected once more for the May 2023 Elysiumite Senate election. Upon Bainbridge's election as Speaker of the Grand Senate, O'Neill was elected, alongside Eugene Smith as Deputy Speaker. Following Eugene Smith's impeachment and denaturalisation in the Serramwen Crisis O'Neill was left as the singular Deputy Speaker.
By July 2023, O'Neill was already discussing plans to run for Leader of the Progressive-Labor Party (the merger of the Progressives and the Social Democrats) with Smith. On 14 February 2024, O'Neill publicly announced that he would run for Progressive Leader in next months primaries. O'Neill, at Smith's advise asked Johnston to run for Secretary-General of the Party. O'Neill initially faced opposition from Maximilian Meister however following O'Neill's suggestion, Meister ran for the Deputy Leadership.
Leader of the Opposition (2024)
O'Neill's election as Party Leader was confirmed on 19 March 2024 and was confirmed as Leader of the Opposition the same day, following his resignation as Deputy Speaker. The primaries, unprecedentedly began the campaigning season for the May 2024 election early, with O'Neill campaigning against new National Democrat Leader Christoph Billung and Agrarian Leader Thomas Bainbridge. O'Neill's primary campaigning promise is to restore activity, in the wake of the failure of a scheduled election to occur in January 2024.
On 26 March 2024, O'Neill announced that he would be suing the Elysiumite Electoral Commission for the failure of the January 2024 occurring. O'Neill intended for the court to side against him thereby legitimizing the term of the 20th Grand Senate which according to some legal interpretations had it's term expire in January 2024. However the simple case soon complicated. Upon inspection of the Constitution, the Electoral Commission consisted of the Crown and the three Justices of the Imperial High Court, another clause of the Constitution stated that the Commission's actions could only be appealed to the High Court thereby meaning that the Commission was judging in the same case they were defending. Whenever Elliot Doe would represent the commission it quickly became clear that the case would not be a simple manner of using the court's authority to extend the Grand Senate's term but rather a complex trial over the nature of the Elysiumite Crown, with O'Neill himself stating "I didn't realise I was opening pandoras box".
The legitimacy of the High Court was additionally briefly thrown into question whenever Doe stated that the terms of the Lord Justices may have expired as they were not renominated. However the trial proceeded. On 20 April 2024, the Court sided with the Electoral Commission.
O'Neill proposed the creation of a new party constitution that formally restored the name of the Party to the "Progressive Party" which was approved by Johnston and Meister and formally announced on 15 April 2024.
While a member of the Tribunal, a committee created to oversee constitutional reform O'Neill aided in the drafting of a new constitutional law. On 20 April 2024, the text of the Codex was proposed to the Grand Senate. There, O'Neill and Doe debated the inclusion of explicit unionization rights, O'Neill favoured their inclusion whereas Doe wanted to remove them. Following the passage of the Codex, O'Neill was named as a 'father of the Codex' and as the Duke of Greymont.
During campaigning for the May 2024 election, O'Neill employed branding similar to the New Labour movement within the British Labour Party including the release of a campaign video using the 1997 Labour campaign anthem Things Can Only Get Better.
Chancellor of Elysium (2024 - present)
Appointment and Government Formation
Following the May 2024 election, O'Neill led the Progressive Party to tie with the National Democratic Party. O'Neill had negotiated, behind closed doors, a coalition agreement with the Agrarian Party and announced it soon after the election results. However, at the urging of Robert II and former Chancellor Doe, O'Neill decided to form a government consisting of the Progressives, National Democrats and Agrarians.
O'Neill was formally commissioned as Chancellor on 3 June 2024 and appointed his cabinet. Consisting of himself as Chancellor, Ruhan Myrkur as a Deputy Chancellor, Thomas Bainbridge as a Deputy Chancellor and Foreign Minister, James Christian as the Home Minister and Christoph Billung as the Commerce Minister with Adam Johnston becoming Chief of Staff, two Secretaries in the Foreign Ministry and an Advisor to the Grand Emperor being appointed.
O'Neill's Chancellorship was immediately forced to deal with the Oaths Crisis, an ongoing crisis revolving around the taking of the oaths of two Grand Senators who modified their oaths, one changed the word to respect their Pagan and Muslim beliefs. The specific oaths were taken two hours and half an hour respectively before O'Neill was appointed Chancellor alongside the swearing in of the rest of the 21st Grand Senate. When Bainbridge, one of the Grand Senators in question, requested the opinion of the Imperial High Court in the case 'Bainbridge v. Elysium', O'Neill did not comment publicly. In the Grand Senate, O'Neill urged the Grand Senate to await the decision of the High Court before taking any action which was criticised by some members of the coalition government.
The Oaths Dispute came to an end on 5 June 2024 whenever the two Grand Senators took the solemn affirmation as opposed to a modified oath.
Domestic Affairs
O'Neill nominated James Christian, the Emperor's Hand at the time, as Home Minister. Christian had previously served as Home Minister under Johnston, Kümmel, Doe and Bainbridge. On 13 July 2024 it was announced that under his second ministry, O'Neill would dismiss Christian as Home Minister in place of Ruhan Myrkur.
On 5 June 2024, O'Neill issued his first executive order. Formally codifying the roles of each government ministry. Conducting the first major reform to the executive branch since the First Doe Ministry. As a part of this order, the Unionist Corporation was granted a new level of independence from the federal government as it was formally detached from the Home Ministry. This was further expanded when the coalition-controlled Grand Senate passed the Unionist Corporation Charter Act, 2024 on 8 June 2024.
O'Neill's initial landmark civil service reform was passed by the Grand Senate, however was vetoed by Grand Emperor Robert II citing the unconstitutionality of one of it's provisions. Speaking to the Unionist O'Neill said: ""The decision to issue the veto in regards to the Civil Service Bill was a surprise to myself.. Grand Emperor Robert II's use of the veto was the first such use of a veto in Modern Elysiumite History. The bill was redrafted and introduced again however was defeated by the First Class of the Grand Senate led by Elliot Doe. Nevertheless O'Neill continued attempts to reform the Civil Service officially releasing an official application for the Civil Service on 5 July 2024.
O'Neill nominated Johann Kümmel, the Prince of Kaiserhof as the Prince Imperial, Prince of Joesphina. Johann was elected unanimously on 27 June 2024 making him the heir apparent to the imperial throne.
During O'Neill's tour of Norway, Adam Johnston has been appointed as Acting Chairman of the Imperial Cabinet, effectively the Acting Chancellor. During Johnston's interim chairmanship he was forced to deal with the Bainbridge Crisis on the ground.
On 9 August 2024, O'Neill attended the inauguration and investiture ceremony of Johann I as Prince Imperial, Prince of Joesphina, where O'Neill acted as Johann's sponsor and reading a passage from the First Book of Kings.
Economic Affairs
O'Neill nominated Christoph Billung, O'Neill's immediate predecessor as Chancellor, as Commerce Minister. Billung had previously served as Commerce Minister under Doe and Bainbridge.
The Unionist Corporation became more autonomously independent under O'Neill's Chancellorship under the Ministerial Functions Order and the Unionist Corporation Charter Act, 2024.
O'Neill and Billung proposed legislation in June 2024 which formally codified the Elysiumite Fiscal Year (June - May) and ensured that the Government would have to regularly report on the state of the economy at the end of a given fiscal year.
Foreign Affairs
Foreign Policy under Foreign Minister Bainbridge
O'Neill nominated Thomas Bainbridge as Foreign Minister. The Coalition Government agreed to continue the current form of foreign policy enacted by Foreign Minister Bainbridge. Bainbridge however resigned following heavy pressure from commentators including Christoph Billung, Elliot Doe and Adam Johnston, being replaced by Johann Kümmel in an acting role.
The separate post of Secretary of Diplomatic Affairs was abolished on 27 June 2024. Bainbridge had previously served continually as Foreign Minister under Kyle Smith, Johnston, Kümmel, Doe, himself and Billung in addition Bainbridge, alongside Myrkur as Deputy Chancellor and the Great Officers of State was the only Cabinet member who had served in the Billung Ministry.
The Foreign Ministry announced that it would begin a Consular project in the Coalition Agenda. Laura Bainbridge was appointed as the temporary Secretary for Consular Affairs pending a permanent appointment. The separate post of Secretary of Consular Affairs was abolished on 27 June 2024.
At the moment of his appointment, O'Neill became the first sitting Chancellor to visit Northern Ireland as at the time of his appointment he was at his residence in New Antrim County.
O'Neill began a state tour of Norway on 6 July 2024, on 8 July 2024 O'Neill became the first sitting Elysiumite Chancellor to visit Norway.
Foreign Policy as own Foreign Minister
On 14 July 2024, O'Neill was appointed as Foreign Minister, replacing Kümmel as the acting Foreign Minister. As a result O'Neill became the first Chancellor to simultaneously serve as Foreign Minister since Thomas Bainbridge's Third Ministry.
On 6 August 2024, Robert II and O'Neill received a notification from the North Star Commission (a body consisting of the signatories of the Second Treaty of Port Elizabury, which O'Neill had refused to propose to the Grand Senate as Foreign Minister) informing Elysium of supposed violations to the Treaty of the Northern Seas (a treaty previously signed by Elysium and the members of the North Star Commission), relating to Articles 7 and 15 which dealt with general support between the signatories and respecting and upholding of religious communities respectively. This resulted in an epistle to two members of the North Star Commission, Atlia & Isturus and the Voiqila being drafted by Robert II regarding the events defending Elysium stating that although Elysium had not been active in conducting diplomacy with the members of the North Star Commission, large numbers of the Elysiumite Foreign Ministry had been away for around 2 weeks prior to the notification and that despite the increase in Christian rhetoric and ideology within Elysium, the nation still remained committed to defending freedom of religion, O'Neill wrote an excerpt in the epistle stating "furthermore, the purpose of a Christian state is not to protect the rights, privileges and liberties of its Christian citizens, but it is to protect the rights, privileges and liberties of all citizens, as if they are all equal under the law, the law based in the Word, as revealed by the Prophets and by the Son of Man Himself."
On 17 August 2024, O'Neill released a joint statement alongside the recently restored government of Pontunia declaring that Pontunia would become a province within Elysium. The plan drew criticism from Commerce Minister Billung. Speaking in the Grand Senate on 21 August 2024, Billung questioned Andrew I of Pontunia, who was also serving as a National Democratic Grand Senator at the time, Andrew withdrew his support for the plan before shortly resigning as a Grand Senator, O'Neill called Andrew out for this and called on the leadership of the National Democratic Party to properly vet their candidates. O'Neill's conduct was criticized by prominent National Democratic Senators including Doe, Billung and Constantine.
September 2024 general election
The Progressive Party lost the September 2024 Elysiumite general election, with the Progressive Party losing one seat and the National Democratic Party gaining one seat. Immediately following the election, Robert II invited O'Neill to form a new government. O'Neill's ability to form a new government rests on his ability to re-negotiate the June 2024 coalition agreement with the National Democrats or enter into confidence and supply with the Rhinoceros Party and a single National Democratic Second Class Grand Senator.,
Grand Prince of Norðurlöndin (2024 - present)
On 9 August 2024, O'Neill was formally created as His Highness Grand Prince of Norðurlöndin, and thus acting chief representative of Daeltheira, replacing Thomas Bainbridge. The style allowed him to use the style of "Highness", however as with his previous ducal title, he opts to use the style of "Right Honorable".
Personal Life
O'Neill is currently a practicing Roman Catholic having previously described himself as 'Agnostic' and 'Agnostic-Catholic'. Upon taking the 16Personalities quiz, O'Neill has stated that he has a INTP-T personality type. On 20 March 2024, O'Neill came out as Bisexual.
O'Neill is currently an amateur historian and performer. Having re-introduced himself to theater in 2023 O'Neill has been in a number of local theatrical productions. O'Neill had been known particularly in Elysium for his radical historical views on topics such as Soviet Russia and was criticized as such. Since 2022 he has moderated the expression of such opinions.
