The 20th Grand Senate election of Elysium was held from the 14 to 17 of September 2023, all fifteen Grand Senate seats were elected. The election lasted exactly forty-eight hours. The National Democrats, led by Elliot Doe, defeated incumbent Chancellor Adam Johnston's Progressive-Labor Party and returned to power, Doe became Chancellor for the second time following the election. Thomas Bainbridge, who led the National Democrats in the previous election left the party, alongside moderate members of the Progressive Party, and formed a the Agrarian Party of Elysium; the Agrarians went on to place third in the election.
